Growing up. This was played at every back yard BBQ, Christmas party, birthday party, (kids and adult party)
So I was programmed from birth to love this song and to love those congas.
this song and "Before I Let Go" by Frankie Beverly and Maze are Black function standards!!! not a single Black gathering goes by without those two songs playing at some time during it.

I grew up listening to every kind of music but there was always one type of music that ALWAYS had my heart.... R&B / Soul / Funk yes I hear you that's 3 different styles BUT!!! To me its all one thing to me.... Sooooooooooooooooooo Gooddddddddddddddddddd and the Gap Band is one of my favorites.
