Oh for sure! That was not my favorite part of the install. lol
@@BuildYourOwnAdventure around 15 years ago when I was young and dumb, I tried to take the mirror glass off to paint the mirror caps on my truck. Did it in the winter. Guess who broke the glass?😂
lol. It happens! I’ve broken more car parts than I’d like to admit..
Installed these on my 17 F350 due to smacking a pole and cracking, fortunately, only the turn light lens. Purchased the smoke and sequential switchbacks. My driver side upper and lower were cracked from removal a couple of years ago, to lens tint smoke my OEM lenses. Now to buy OEM replacemwnt glasses. Do not want to remove these ever again... too much of a pucker situation.
Oh for sure! Taking those apart was bad on my nerves!! Completely worth it though. They look awesome!
My bottom one didn't come off like that, ended up breaking it
Never mind, I had replaced my whole mirror assembly on my driver side and turns out the inside is set up completely different cause this trick worked on my passenger side
Oh man! No way!
Oh ok. Still sucks that it broke. Hopefully a replacement won't be too expensive.
Hey @buildyourownadventure Did you get rid of your Titan? How did it treat you?
We traded our Titan in a few years ago. It was an excellent truck but was lacking enough payload for our Cargo Trailer.
