- Singapore has confirmed its first case of the Wuhan virus. The patient is a 66-year-old Chinese national and a resident of Wuhan. He is currently warded at SGH in stable condition. MOH said there is also a second preliminary positive case - a 53-year-old woman, also a resident from Wuhan - pending a second positive confirmation.

What I know is that it has mostly killed people with a weak immune system, infants, and elderly 40 and up. So if your not in those categories you're fine. Wash your hands, dont touch your face, eat healthier and or exercise if you have a weak immune system or take supplements if you are that worried. I'm not sure where you're from but if you live in the US you have nothing to worry about yet, unless you live near Seattle, Washington or Chicago.
I don't believe they even know what exactly they are dealing with. It seems this isn't anything like Sars, or Mers. The Health professionals are going about this with far more caution. There is something about this that doesn't add up.

The virus is still in early stage. It is rapidly mutating and once more and more gets infected. The virus would have evolved and become much more lethal and theres no cure for this type of virus,like SARS.

. Also the the thermal imaging is not 100% proof. Doing a mouth swab at our airport for each person comming from that part of the state must be done as saliva will have the virus. The person maybe carrying the virus but never have any symptoms until later. So analysing their saliva for the virus could better.

Like I recently watched a video comparing wet markets in China and Vietnam done by people who have spent a lot of time in both countries. Vietnam is a far poorer country than China but at least they regularly clean with soap something that is rarely or never done in Chinese wet markets. In Chinese wet markets all they do is wash out with water and that is all.
The video put it down to Chinese hubris. Chinese culture is the best and this is always how we have done things so no need to change. :/

However, China has to stop treating animals so terribly, eating everything with 4 legs, and using such unsanitary methods of processing all their meat right on the street. China sees this kind of thing way too often. Regardless, I hope the outbreak will be minimal, and people will be ok. It seems to be targeting people aged 50 and over and people n children with compromised immune systems. As most do. Hearing how it’s quickly mutating is cause for very serious concern.
