I'm a nurse. It's really not easy working for these 100 days and during my off days I couldn't even go outdoor to enjoy. It's driving me insane
Desmond Low thank you for your contribution.
Thank you for your contribution and sacrifice.People should appreciate that you nurses exist.
@Ericia Aw Its sad that the frontliners are discriminated at
Thank you Desmond
Thank you for your service and sacrifice to Singapore,You are a hero.

Shoutout to my SAF NSF medics deployed all over to help our overstretched healthcare system. Overworked, underpaid and underappreciated. To my brothers on the frontlines, seek, save and serve, though we are barely recognized by media for our efforts, we know how much we are contributing.

My colleagues from various parts of the world asked how are we doing and my response has been consistently same, government has been putting in hard work in contact tracing, setting stricter measures at right time and above all people understands what it takes to defeat this pandemic and have been cooperative thus far. At no point we felt situation is out of hands. Thanks to ministers, front runners and other unsung heroes 👏
It doesnt look like that. A small country with a large numbers of infected, malaysia has a far better control over the virus spread than singapore.
markus martin you need to compare the number of people being tested in both countries, and the death rate.
@@samasama6894 malaysia are doing targeted testing now. Singapore numbers are too high, with 500-900 infected everyday. while malaysia has 100-200 infected.

Okay people who are saying bad stuff about the government , please stop. They are trying so hard.
ya, they always got blame for everything, nobody know what going to happen next until it happen, when government take precaution the got blame strict rule. government just an entity that want to create system to be most efficient, in the process somebody will get burn.
@@tysloo81 funny thing is i see everyone supporting the strict rule. Many still want them to continue circuit breaker.
There is something call precautionary measure. We don't have to react only when things happen
The whole trouble was Singapore listen to WHO recommendation allowing PRC tourists, especially those from WU HAN the epic centre if the outbreak. If Singapore Government had listen to Taiwan's warning instead of following blindly the recommendation and directions from WHO .
Ending the circuit breaker is a big mistake. Singaporean are too complacent. We are behaving like the Swedish. We’ll get burnt. Surely!
Extend the circuit breaker again!
Actually not closing our boarders and banning Chinese to enter was the mistake

Dear front-liners (medical staff, customer service staff, the ambassadors, enforcers etc), I know that sometimes saying thanks is starting to feel like lip service. I’m really curious, could anyone share with us (me) some personal stories that you wish Singaporeans should know (e.g. things that we do that irks/irritate/roll eye (things that we should not have done or should do more of etc) or stories that has touched your heart. Could you share in the comments, your stories that could help us be aware of your challenges/milestones (so that I can avoid doing/ should do more of) Thank you!
Such a very small and very advanced country and why the government overlooked the migrants issue that brings up the number of cases. If not properly handled it may cause huge damage to the country and the citizens.
I am curious if there had been sinister forces who wanted to bring the country down to our knees, just when our govt measures seem to have succeeded in containing it, till widespread in foreign workers dorm, starting in Mustafa Centre. Let's live to see what the affected countries with its severe numbers of death(close to quarter of millions death) - beware of rogue state and devious sinister forces at work.

Its easy to criticise.

@@kausape the truth hurts but its acceptance is more important than partisan politics
It's easy to say it now, but multiple factors have to be considered before a lockdown is implemented. It's not as easy. Besides, in Pandemics like these, which is new and unknown, we can only respond to the situation as it evolves. Besides, if a sudden nationwide lockdown is implemented in SG all of a sudden, there will be mass panicking and hoarding in our supermarkets and markets, disrupting supply chains and overall create a bad image for Singapore. From DORSCON Yellow change to Orange already resulted in panic buying, imagine what a sudden lockdown in SG would look like?
@@ghcheong doing what's right is never easy . That's y u need leaders who have the conviction n resolve to respond quickly with affirmative action..
There was a lot of scientific data n proof from other countries ..
In all honesty. This virus is what Singapore deserves after how they treat and view they're hardworking migrant workers. Putting them in shit living standards and having xenophobic perspective against them. From being viewed as authoritative towards the virus, now the major cluster of South East Asia. It's shame that this first world country state has become one of the worst cases of in all of South East Asia. What a sad shame.
I think this pandemic shows the level of leadership and crisis management of our govt😊

The positive COVID19 in SG will be above 20K in 2 days. StayAtHome and StaySave guys.
Singapore's Covid-19 cases so far just made me conclude that, Yes, the transmission rate is really fast and the infection cases are high...but.. the mortality rate at less than 0.1% whilst the world's average mortality rate currently stands at abt 6%. Looks like Covid-19 in Singapore is currently not as deadly compared to the rest of the world. Correct me if I'm wrong on this.
If our government had not listen to WHO and block travelers from mainland China. This won't have been this bad.
it started off with single digits, then tens, hundreds, now thousands
This why I'm a shut in now 😂
It really disappoints me that so many people would panic buy even after the sars out break.

SG gov did good job compare to US and Europe
US and Europe 100x bigger than SG and they do more tests
@@kevinwin11 but they are toooooo late.
Gov likes to compare SG with HK, Taiwan or SKorea previously. Why change the comparison ref to US and Europe? Or is it becos all these gov successful put their countries on the top x COVID 19 dashboard?
Why compare to certain countries only. Reality is Singapore ranked in the top 15 worst affected country in the world, in term of number of infections per million of population.
@Ayy lmao True.I agree. Figures based on reports from each countries. Lots of errors among countries. The point is why compare. Another infection is one infection too many. However, my personal feeling is Singapore made a mistake by being too complacent in February. No crowd restriction, no mask, no social distancing, etc but try to show off to the world they had it under control and life is as normal with just temperature check and tracing. Now Singapore pay the price. So sad.
5th wave: sovereign lady gets corona
Praying that we can get a vaccine by next year... or even earlier.. confirmed we r having recession already.. it would take years before the country's economy will be revived and be back to ' normal '. For now, i am just making sure im saving up and not spend unnecessarily. Those of us who still have a job should be thankful. Hang in there ..
Don't worry, I will make the vaccine
Singaporean’s will learn. Slowly but surely.

Where is the part where they told us not to wear masks unless we are sick?
Just another channel and thn wheres the part where the ministers talk in an angry and aggresive tone acting as if the absurd and quick rise in numbers of infected is our fault? When its literally their fault for not taking measures like circuit breaker or lockdown quicker
