It’s crazy seeing two worlds collide that are Tyrone and Cory on the same screen. My absolute favorite youtubers
It's crazy bc YT held on to individuals like the Paul Brothers, soooo tightly even after their most problematic videos (we know the videos!), and yet they target youtubers like Cory, Lovelyti, etc who is a wholesome gamer and basically a news and social news media reporter and commentator, respectively. It's been going on for years at this point

Wish what you know, Tyrone, was made common knowledge so that everyone can know how to follow the guidelines. CZcams making it unclear and not explaining it so users are crystal clear on the rules, leaves lots of room for confusion. Thank you for discussing this. Many people have experienced some of these issues for awhile. When your job and livelihood depends on certain policies and a company, there needs to be clarity and consistency.

But if it's somethig in the community guidelines, shouldn't you be able to just repeat it right here and not hush around about it..? This transparency issue with youtube is insane. How are creators supposed to follow rules when they aren't informed about them.
It's against CZcams's interest to implement a policy where they have to tell you what you did wrong for you to fix it, because it gets in the way of them being able to shut you down for any reason including no reason. It's owned by Google which has enough power to shut people out of an entire ecosystem if you have a gmail account associated with your email, your YT, your cloud storage files, etc.
That's what I was wondering. If all you gotta do is understand the guidelines better, and he can pick apart what things are going to get your stuff restricted, why not share if its public information?

He said that people, especially black people, dont take the time to learn the rules of the platform they use but dont own.

Interesting convo but I'd like to zero in on the "red phone" comment you made. I'm not surprised that he doesn't have one. People of a certain persuasion are offered the red phone once they reach a certain level and others have to fight for it regardless of how big they are. Why is that?
