Try not to see the original until you see the new one... if you can, I think it is better not to compare. Bill Skarsgard (the lead) is a brilliant actor. The original is one of my favorites but I am so hyped to see this new film because of Bill. I feel like we shouldn't compare the two films, especially due to the loss of Brandon Lee during filming. It was such a tragic event and his legacy will never die.

True, I've seen the original and while I'm abit neutral on the remake? I'll cut it some slack by giving it a watch online since I never really compare anything cuz' that ain't my style tbh lol.
Personally, I like the look of this movie. Everybody is sh*tting on with the comic adaptation, having a grittier version of Eric as the crow. Especially with Bill Skarsgård being a delight anyway plus his amazing work is Pennywise, I’m guessing he can pull off a very well done at adaptation of the character despite everybody flawing him for the betrayal due to the legacy of Brandon Lee (the original Crow actor who died through filming) but it looks amazing!!!
You think this version of Eric is grittier?
I saw the Brandon Lee original when it released in theaters. Was blown away. This one trailer body bags all of the Crow sequels in its short two minutes than all those movies did actually doing damage to the Crow franchise minus The Crow City Of Angels. That was a proper follow up sequel. This stands on its own from what I see. Im going to see it and pay some homage to Brandon Lee.
People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right.
Welp, I did watch the original 1994 "The Crow" movie last month, and while I'm quite neutral over the remake? I'm cutting it some slack by giving it a watch, but mostly on Soap2day and see how I'd feel about it as I'd never compare either cuz' like powerscaling? comparing ain't my style tbh lol.
Plus, the song from the trailer that's called "Take What You Want" by Post Malone feat. Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott's probably my favorite part about the upcoming movie as it also became my favorite song after that :) and yet I even almost got a Eren Jaeger from Attack On Titan vibe when the character Eric in the Crow 2024 trailer said he'd destroy every single one of them😆

Would have been cool if they use another person as the crow instead of Eric Draven. Brandon Lee died in the role as Eric Draven. There has been other people who took on the mantle of the crow including a woman.
We all know he died during filming but there has been so many stories and versions of it everything is different it’s a complete mystery they have made better crow stories in the sequels and TV movie and show there has been better stories in the fan films even when better happens it doesn’t touch the Brandon lee movie
This trailer shows absolutely nothing
The idea of the crow, if well-executed, will make for an awesome movie. Think Sanders is the right guy to re-envision it, and one of the writers won an Oscar for screenwriting. None of that necessarily means anything, but the idea that this is its own beast is what makes it look amazing. I loved the original, love at least the new look of this one. Can’t wait
