oh my, I want you to be my quilting buddy Fran. You are a wealth of information !!! I learn so much from you. Excellent video. Much love to you all at Fabric Cafe.
Fran. You always pick out the perfect pattern and fabric. Enjoy listening to all the stories, some feel so heartfelt they bring me to tears. Thank you for being you
Fabric Matchmaker has become one of my favorite things to watch, Fran. I love your explanations for why you selected patterns and the positioning of the fabrics that people sent you as well as what you found for us as a similar kit. I have two 3 Yard Quilt books and may NEED to buy 3 kits to receive another.
This matchmaker with musical was a great touch. The idea of connection in the chain reaction was a nice idea. Your geographic blouses are really eye catching too.
This is one of my favorite videos you do. I loved what you did with the music fabric. I like the color combination. If I was a themed fabric I would be a colorful garden. I love gardening and I love color. đ€
I was surprised by the red one! Love this matchmaker series itâs so much fun! The fabric I would be would be multiple shades of blue with butterflies! Ilovethe color blue and butterflies!
Another perfect thing about the Wandering Ways quilt is the heart shapes - so nice for her desire to give the quilt to someone who could use extra love.
Fran this was your best fabric match video to date. I love all the quilts and explanation of why you color matched the fabrics and patterns. Thank you, excellent video!
Wow! Love the music fabric pattern choices! You knocked it out of the park on them Fran! Love that the patterns are so versatile and sometimes switching positions is just the ticket!
Fran, I absolutely love what you matched with the music patterns. That blue was right on. It was beautiful. The other music fabric also popped. Great job.
Another great video! Really love your using black in the background. Certainly gives the quilt a âpopâ effect and is so striking. Always like your changing the fabric positions too.
Always fun Fran! I was so surprised to see the Sand Dollar fabric because I visited a quilt shop on the Pacific Coast and found it in a beautiful quilt shop. Guess What? I bought some to make a Three Yard Quilt! The shop gals helped me to pick two more sea fabrics. I'm so excited to make a quilt for my sister. I have all of your books. Deciding on a pattern will be so much fun. Susy.
I Would be angel prints. Love watching these videos. I have all the books except the new modern one, but are still stumped sometimes which pattern to use from my stash
Love this video. I have pirate fabrics that I have had on my shelf for years. Want to make 3 yard quilts with some of the prints. I have a few ideas now. Thank you.
I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for the inspiration. I love the beach memories kit. It gave me an idea to make a quilt for my sister. She loves the beach, and the blues are her favorite color.
Came across this video tonite and was thrilled beyond measures as I purchased the fabric with the gold toned instruments a couple of years ago with the intention of making a quilt for my son who loves music. However, I had not been able to come up with any ideas. Thanks to you I now know what to do.
I just love these matchmaker video's. I got the form printed out, and I got the fabric that I want to send. I just have to get it too you, but I don't know what to say. Hopefully you can edit what I say as I am not very good at saying things. Loved the butterfly kit that you made up for the person that sent it in. If I had to describe a themed fabric, I would be a wild colored jungle themed piece of fabric. This is because of all the wonderful colors of leaves, flowers, animals, and other things going on in the fabric. Maybe I will also send out the wild flamingo fabric to match up. LOL
@JoAnnCall, please send in your fabric! Yes we will tweak your story for any grammatical items. Mostly, I love to hear why you chose the fabric, or maybe the fabric chose you. Will you be making a quilt for someone else? What are your favorite colors? I love that you would be a jungle themed fabric! That's fun! I'll be on the watchout for your submission! Thanks, JoAnn! Fran
Super fun video - I love that you are a fabric rebel Fran! Always feel like I learn when I watch these & know I fabric shop in 3s - always looking for a focus - #2 and then a #3 that coordinate. I'm new to quilting and currently have my 3rd 3 yard quilt on the cutting table. LOVE your videos and amazing patterns!
If I was a fabric I would be a shy muted fabric hiding in the background. Until we got to know each other better and then I would be a fun, fun fabric that would still not be the focus fabric but the number 3 fabric. There to help everyone else out.
