    INGREDIENTS:
    Organic cornstarch: amzn.to/2rd5I9D
    Cocoa powder: amzn.to/2Lt75b6
    Cinnamon:
    Ginger:
    French green clay: amzn.to/2OVX1JC
    Bentonite clay: amzn.to/2OZI8py
    How To Make DIY Foundation:
In a small, nonmetallic bowl, add about 1-2 Tbs cornstarch.
Depending on the color of your skin, start mixing in small amounts of the other ingredients until you get your perfect match.
To figure out if you matched your skin tone, just dip your finger in the powder, rub on the back of your hand, and go outside to see if it blends. If it doesn't, then add more ingredients and try again.
    Place in a clean jar.
    To use homemade foundation:
Gently tap a foundation brush in loose powder, tap off any extra powder back into the jar, and apply in a circular motion, just like any loose powder foundation.

Oh gosh, I need to try it. I was looking for organic natural ingredients face powder but I couldn't find one. All of them contain iron dioxide, aluminium or other nasty stuff.
    Thank you so much.

Huh? I'm confused.... Yes, there are some not-so-good ingredients in some makeup products, but what's "iron dioxide"? Did you mean iron oxide? If so, iron oxides are not only perfectly safe and natural, but they also have skin-protection benefits.

Exactly, so tired of titanium dioxide in every single powder. It causes cancer.

Bentonite clay comes in different colours. you could just get the darker clay then have no coco powder.

This is so cool, but I can’t get the powder to show up on my face for some reason. My skin tone is very close to yours, but even when I added lots of pure cocoa powder, the mix is either not sticking to my face or there’s some other issue...? The only ingredient I left out was the clay because I wasn’t sure where to get it.

    • @helenarichard
      @helenarichard Před 6 měsíci +1

I have the same issue with any powder in the world. Your skin is probably too clean or dry. I would add a base of moisturizer to get it to stick.

Isn’t cornstarch bad for your skin I saw that if you sweat it can create a fungus I don’t know I could be wrong

Haven't heard that before. I've been wearing this for almost 10 years without issue. Rarely have blemishes or skin issues. 🤷🏼‍♀️ So I'm not sure, but from personal experience I haven't seen this as a problem.

After a little bit of googling (because I was scared of corn starch for the same reason) it seems to be safe and actually beneficial to switch Corn Starch for ARROWROOT POWDER instead! Arrowroot powder has been used to treat skin irritations such as rashes, acne, and open wounds. Furthermore, due to its anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory properties, topical application of arrowroot powder has been shown to improve skin texture, reduce oiliness, and provide a natural glow to the complexion. So definitely a better choice for an ingredient in powder foundation! Hope this helps!
