Chiefs through 7 Weeks with Tyreek 2021: 3-4. Mahomes 18 TD's/9 INTS.
2022: 5-2, Mahomes 20/5. #1 scoring offense in the league. 3rd youngest roster. Toughest projected schedule in the league.
This is not to say "We're better w/o Tyreek". I really wish we still had him but...we're still pretty good I'd say!

I think we're better without him. Mahomes looks like he doesn't need to feed one selfish player. He has a lot of options now and the announcers said it best, "They lost Hill and have more big plays than they had when he was on the team."

Losing Tyreek Hill meant they could add depth both defensively and offensively so I think it was the better choice long term. It's hard to pay Mahomes, Kelce and Hill while keeping key players on defense.

The best thing about today was that Patrick seems to have zeroed in his deep passing game. Earlier in the season he was overthrowing WR's who were wide open. If he continues to be consistently accurate downfield the rest of the league better look out!
that's a qb developing his chemistry with ALL his receivers, not just the one's in the middle (Jimmy G). When your qb can throw anywhere on the field, they you have a shot at a championship. A one dimensional qb with out with Dilfer and Flaco.
His most wide open deep receiver he underthrew (Valdez-Scantling in the 4th).
But he got himself SO wide open there was room to come back

I'm just really really proud of Patrick. Threw a pick on his first pass but he was able to shrug it off and deliver like he always does. But other than that, THIS is what happens when we play as an effective unit on all three sides of the ball.
Chiefs are contenders and I truly think they can defeat the bills in the post season when healthy

I get the Jimmy G criticism - but let's also be honest about the Niners D. They didn't pressure - Mahomes often had ample time. They definitely didn't cover - their DBs got out-muscled and out jumped. Their pursuit and tackling was atrocious - the Chiefs put on a blocking clinic. They've got a lot of things to get right.
Fr they are 2nd in sacks and they could only get like one or two sacks?
How about you give credit to the Chiefs O line against the #1 defense coming in. They gave Mahomes all day to find his receivers.

The thing the Chiefs do really well that isn't talked about about is great down field blocking. They constantly turn short passes into huge gains because the receivers and tight ends block so well after the catch.

Great recovery by the Chiefs after the 10-0 hole early. I was worried about them in this game, but glad they kept laser focus after the deficit from then on out. Totally root for these guys. SF is still a formidable team in the NFC when they get everything together.

Looking back on this game now as a niners fan this was their last loss and now the niners have been on a win streak since then. Niners are now 9-4 and are now Divison Leaders. It sucks that the niners lost this game but niners are now firing on all cylinders. Also this game was when niners had a ton of injuries as well and now most of them are back thank goodness. I'm afraid that niners might face the chiefs in the sb this year or another really good afc team this year I just have a gut feeling about it. Niners won today against brady and the niners play the Seahawks again this Thursday. I'm not worried about it. Niners are doing better now and are learning from their mistakes. Go niners.

Yes. Their defense looks completely different. Like an iron wall now. Almost impossible to gain real yards on, or sustain a drive. I'm all but certain the 49ers will win out and go 13-4, hosting two games in the playoffs. A game at Philly for the NFC championship would be something to see.
KC meanwhile isn't as consistent. They are in a good position record wise, but Mahomes is saving them too often. I'll be surprised if they get to the SB. Though to be honest, Buffalo, Cincy, Baltimore, Miami all have issues too and look like could be beat on any given Sunday. Though if Buffalo gets HFA, going there and beating them in Buffalo, in January, is going to be extremely difficult for anyone.

Ok when kc defense made 49ers jump I about died. This definitely was an amazing game juju starting to find himself with the team
Started down 10-0, only to win by 21. I don’t think there’s been a team in NFL HISTORY, that can do what MY CHIEFS can do, when down by at least 10 at any point in the game, period. I think Pacheco should be our #1 rb. Juju has stepped up big time the last few games. Mecol is our ace in the hole, getting 3 td’s today which is the most in his short career. I think getting rid of the cheetah, although it still kinda hurts, was a really good thing for us. Frank Clark and Stone Cold showed up big time today as well. A muffed punt inside the 5 yard line should’ve brought the 9ers a momentum shift, only to give it right back to us lol. Overall a complete victory in all facets. Idk what’s been up with Butker man he kicks a 62 yard fg a few weeks ago, then misses a 39 yarder. He’s always been like that. Makes the very far kicks, misses the short ones, idk. #ChiefsKingdom4Life

Harbaugh wasn’t that much better. He was a master clock manager as we mostly could only score field goals in the Harbaugh days. Our offense is better than it was in the Harbaugh days. I think our offense really misses Mike McDaniels. Shanahan isn’t that much of an offense master.

Niner fan here. The Chiefs always play with such tenacity that you just have to respect it. If you go down by more than one score against the Chiefs I feel like the game is just over. We needed Trey to stay healthy and develop this season. We need a star on the inside of the o-line. We need Kinlaw to stay healthy and develop on the interior defensive line. We need a solid guy opposite of Nick, we need better corners. A loss like this really makes you see the holes in your team.
