Absolutely! Wealth is made in bear markets. We aren’t in a bear market, but nibbling heavy red days has proven to be fruitful for me over 4 years of investing. I am at 2.25 mil. Biggest positions VOO, VTI, SCHD, VYM, and now looking to build up DRGO alongside finding quality value/growth stocks to buy. I got $48k divs last year in taxable divs. Q2 taxable divs this year was $17,388 this year. Don't sell when the market is down. Having a skilled CFA that puts the time in to do in-depth research can be invaluable in strategizing your portfolio.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a professional trader for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again.

Every mall, shopping center and store I’ve gone into in the last two months has been packed. Lines were incredibly long at the outlet mall this weekend. I could barely move in any of the stores it was so busy. Maybe that’s just Southern California but it definitely feels like people are spending money and traveling. Lots of foreign languages at the shopping centers and lots of shopping bags and back to school shopping. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

I honestly have no idea what these guys are trying to say. There's a lotta flim-flam here, more flopping than a fish on land. I get that we can't all be oracles carrying a crystal ball, but what the hell: speak clearly boys and girls, own your mistakes, and chart a path forward in no ambiguous terms.
Rate cuts would be insane. The rich are already so much richer since 2020. Higher asset prices guarantee an underclass for a generation. If they cut rates, move into a gated community with armed security. That is my advice.

The massive inflation in real estate over the last few years was due to low lates (and massive transfer of wealth to the rich through inflated stocks and assets funded by money printing. Yep, most of the Covid $ went to the rich). Lower rates also hurt the economy by obscuring the efficient use of capital. Big players borrow money just to speculate on stock market rather than for any productive reason. We’ve had artificially low rates since 2008. Does it seem to you that things are getting better for the bottom 80%, or that the rich are getting richer and the young are squeezed into childlessness and renting?
