No one wants to see a bad figure, but this was a really funny video. If anyone says you like every figure; they need to watch this video. I think now and again having a good rant about how bad something is; is very necessary. On a more serious note, its a sad state of affairs when the shoulder pads are the best thing on a new figure.

I just want to say this is hilarious and made my night honestly. I’m a collector myself and when I saw you were reviewing a homelander figure which I was definitely considering buying before this video I had to check it out and I’m so happy you did because If you didn’t I would have wasted a LOT of money. This is hilarious I love how casual your voice is while talking hella shit out about this figure

A new world record! Justin tossed in the towel on this figure 7 minutes in.... I've never ever heard him as disappointed as he was with this figure.

I was so excited to see Homeland in a 1/6 scale form, but I was very disappointed with the headsculpt. The figure went downhill from the first reveal.

Super disappointed personally
Good god....Star Ace, what happened? I can't believe they dropped the ball on this figure. I have the SooSooToys Homelander on pre-order and currently have in my collection the SooSooToys Butcher. Butcher came out outstanding and I have no doubt that Homelander will be as well. Since Star Ace is the only company able to provide an officially licensed figure from this series, I was hoping they would at least match the quality of SooSooToys figures in this line. Man o man, I'm so glad I never did pre-order a copy of this figure myself. I'm very happy with SooSooToys Butcher and I know their Homelander will knock it out of the park. They are after all, the Hot Toys of unlicensed figures...in my opinion anyways. I did however ordered from Toyswonderland the Star Ace Homelander base, which does look fantastic and will go well with SooSooToys Homelander when it eventually releases. I hope you get to review it soon Justin so I can see how good it is....or not. Star Ace may have shit the bed on this figure, but here's hoping that base is a homerun 🤞

Wow I've been watching Justin's videos for about a year now and I can't say I've ever seen him dislike/hate a figure nearly as much as this one, sure he's reviewed a bad figure or two before but this one was just...oof...
For sure this was hugely disappointing
What a shame. I love Homelander and I wanted this figure so bad. I agree, its not very good for $300. Those gloves are cheesy lol. Hopefully another company will make a decent figure or statue. Right now, the 3D printed statue that I painted myself looks better then this lol

It looks to me as if the cape is also cut wrong. I believe HomeLander’s cape falls straight down his back rather than fan out as it goes down. 🧐

Came back to this after watching your livestream with John at Queen/InArt. He made an interesting point that as long as the figures sell the office guy doesn't care, but that office guy should be thinking about the opportunity cost. If they had a high quality company like InArt developing this line, it would sell like literal hotcakes. This figure is painful to look at.

I mean it’s understandable to have some quality issues with homelander, Vaught international mass produces these on an epic scale for boys and girls across the globe

I’m never one to shit on other peoples’ art, however I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this figure looked kinda wack. I don’t own it, so I can’t make a full in hand judgment I suppose, but everything looks off. The headsculpt has an ehh likeness, doesn’t match with the neck, and red eye effects make him look stoned lol. His body isn’t well proportioned for the character, and the cape looks like those cheap american flags that get stuck in the ground everywhere on memorial day. Hopefully other companies do Homelander and his fellow characters justice. On a side note, I know it’s 1/12, but you should get the mafex figures and review them! The black noir is looking pretty dope, and I’d love to see your take on them!

Hey there Justin I just wanted to say that if you can you should totally get a sideshow collectibles man with no name(Clint Eastwood in the dollars trilogy) figure I personally don’t have the figure myself but the photos I have seen look relatively nice

I don’t think the sculpt for the serious face is that bad, but the seams on the hair for the light up feature and smiling head are unacceptable for a figure of this price.

The prototype of it didn't look good to begin with I haven't seen any company do a good job yet of the boys I think hot toys should do it but they are to busy making the same character every time

Dishwasher gloves and the worst figure you’ve ever seen. I have to admit I had a good laugh with those comments. Still a great review Justin! It’s really sad that this is the only licensed version of Homelander and that’s how it came out. I’m hoping that SooSootoys version will be just as good as their butcher!

They actually destroyed the headsculpt, proto was so good and Vimal did a perfect sculpt job. And this shit is just bad and sad to see.

I’m thinking of pre ordering the Ivan Drago figure by Star Ace toys but I’ve never heard of the company and the reviews of other figures they’ve made seem pretty bad!
Yeah not sure about them for the rocky line. Their rocky 2 figure was this level of quality
While the figure doesn’t look good he seems to have some decent articulation

My hopes for this figure were low but this really turned out awful (but also somewhat hilarious 😅) @Justin's Collection I have the v.collectibles head sculpt as well and was planning on putting it on the SooSoo Toys body, do you think that will work? I asked SooSoo and they said their Homelander figure will have a removable neck.

Star Ace and young rich versions were terrible. Soosoo toys did well with butcher, so i really hope soosoo toys version doesn't let us down especially since I pre-ordered it.

I was supposed to get this one since I'm pleased that Homelander got his own 1/6 scale figure, but the head sculpt looks sucks, this doesn't look like the actor who acted Homelander in the TV series

The serious head sculpt isn’t even that bad I swear y’all are overreacting. I’ve seen way worse homelander sculpts than this. In fact the open mouth custom sculpt isn’t that good. His mouth looks weird and teeth are super tiny. V.collectibles serious face the best likeness imo

on top of all the negatives there is the price. 280 for this thing is too much which at first I thought hey 17 bucks more you get too extra heads but I see now why. I thought it was weird and fishy that they did not show a true picture of his eyes light up feature and I see now why. Also final rant you have to pay another 100 dollars for a diorama.

I was hoping to marry my V.Collectibles Sculpt with this body. To no avail as the neck is seamless part of Phicen body and can't be modified. How dod you end up using your V.Collectibles Homelander sculpt?
I drilled out the sculpt and cut the neck off the Phicen body
