The signs may have seemed to have been there but it was the audiences reaction in the famous London scene that had the writers re-write them because that was just supposed to be a one-nighter

Chandler showed a sweet, tender side of himself towards Monica, which was super abnormal for him since he covered up his feelings with sarcasm and humor. I always think about that flashback when Phoebe moved out of Monica's apartment. Chandler was so gentle then. Monica even knew about his third nipple before anyone else. (Also, I like your taste in Genshin characters).

And I totally agree with your opinion on Chandler's special treatment towards Monica, as I watched the series I felt like he was always more picky with the wording of his jokes when it came to her. He never hurt her feelings, and made sure he didn't actually mean any of what he had said. Or maybe it's because I kinda shipped them, idk xD

I think Rachel and Joey were just upsetting. They weren't necessarily weird it was just frustrating they liked each other at different times and it didn't work out. I always thought they'd have been perfect if it was timed better but it's more realistic to miss it and struggle, I like that they tried though, reminds you even if you like someone they might not be right for you
