  • CN 5713, and CN 2504 lead a stack train north, through Duplainville, WI. This was filmed near Weyer, Road, on CN's Waukesha Sub. Well, this was certainly a weird day. It was sunny a few hours prior, and then it just stared pouring rain. I had some errands to run, and afterwards I noticed a bunch of train sitting around Duplainville. There was some type of signal problem, that had 8 NB's backed up! This was the first one, and I was just starting to leave as the rain was only getting heavier. I saw the power go by through my mirror, and turned around an headed to the next crossing crossing north to catch it. Leading was a SD75I, with a messed up K3, followed by a old C44-9WL! Two old school units leading a stack train? Now that's a good catch to me! The rain was heavy, but I think it made for a great shot! Seeing it blow of the train cars was certainly something to watch. It even had CN's fancy inspection boxcar coming for the ride! Great catch, great shot, great everything on this train!

I filmed near that exact spot before. I'm kind of surprised those hoppers are still sitting there as of seeing this. Nice video
