    Create the feeling of falling in Adobe After Effects. Make objects seem to be moving, with backgrounds, streaks, and movement. These simple tricks will have you falling for After Effects all over again. Modelled after a popular video game about falling guys, this quick example should give you the tools you need to make anything feel like it's in motion. And it's just for falling, but also rising, translating, shifting, all the movements.

    @DavidMathew82 Před 3 lety

    Unrelated question I had while watching this. If I was making a MoGRT in after effects to use in Premiere is there a way to attach something to a null in the template once inside Premiere? For instance, if I made the example in this video into a template but took out the square, could I use an object in premiere to take it's place (i.e. null would have the motion in the template but in Premiere I could assign something as a property in my template to take the place of the square)? I'm an expressions / templating n00b right now so just figuring this stuff out.

    one of the best tutors I know.. quick question >>> I want to create a rain dropping on an umbrella .. in my head I know I should make the Umbrella like a floor and place an expression that say "if this layer touches the umbrella Fade Out".. just don't know how to make it happen.
    At the time of this comment I'm just gonna try something on my own. cheers..maybe I'll send via IG

    • @ECAbrams
      @ECAbrams  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Expressions are probably not the best way to go. We can always use the umbrella as a matte for a layer of rain, but that means no rain appears where the umbrella is but it will appear below the umbrella. So, what we really need is to create the space protected by the umbrella and use that as a matte. It gets more complex if we want the rain to "splash" when it hits a surface. Often we should be using a particle system of some kind that can respond to hulls defined by masks and have a droplet explode when it makes contact. I hope that helps.

    • @Doubleeso
      @Doubleeso Před 11 měsíci

      yeah! that's what I happen to be doing; a matte.. Not the last part with the particle though lol.. but yeah thanks for responding 🤲🏽
