Just film a green screen shot of you jumping, and bend your legs like it looks on a back flip, and rotate the green screen footage like a backflip and BAM!

I may be completely wrong, but I feel like you could have done this with different layers, and not had to deal with doing 3D stuff. Couldn't you just stick cloud layers above or behind the subject, and scale them to simulate depth???
