- Today, “Recovering America”, a new documentary film featuring independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., premiered at the Kiva Auditorium in Albuquerque. This is the first time the film has been released online.
“Recovering America” reveals the most promising solutions to the nation's addiction crisis. Drug overdoses now kill more than 100,000 Americans every year. Drawing on innovative and effective real world solutions, Kennedy offers an inspiring new vision in which addicts are empowered to rebuild their lives. He also shares his journey to recovery.
“I think someone who has walked the walk-Robert F. Kennedy Jr.-can be our role model out of this phase of American addiction”, said addiction therapist Brian Gallagher.

I'm almost 82. I was 26 when Bobby Kennedy was assassinated . Some Precious part of me died the night Bobby was murdered. But that part of me has been resurrected with Bobby Kennedy Junior's candidacy for POTUS. When I first heard he was running, I had bought into the mainstream media portrayal of him as a conspiracy nut but I felt I owed it to Bobby to at least give his son a listening to. I'm so glad I did! After listening to many interviews I got a feel for his sincerity and Integrity. What's more, when I learned of his practicing a rigorously honest spiritual program, being an old friend of Bill's, well, that just put me over the moon! His emphasis on placing principles before personalities and not impugning the motives of others, but focusing only on policy differences keeps him out of the childish blame-game pettiness which has characterized politics for the last few presidential cycles. For the last 15 years or so I've heard Republicans complain that liberals, like communists, want to redistribute the wealth from the Rich to the Poor. Well, I've been around a while and my experience over the last 50 years or so tells me that through corporate lobbying, payoffs, financing campaigns, etc., Corporate America has more than just captured the Agencies which are supposed to regulate it. It has captured the Whole political system, both Republicans and Democrats to essentially establish a political duopoly which has dismantled the union movement, decimated the middle class and created the homeless class with exorbitant rental rates, interest rates on homes and credit cards, school loans, and stagnated wages over the last 45+ years. And so, the Rich, as plutocrats will, have been Redistributing the wealth from the Poor and Middle-class to the Rich! Bobby knows how to stop this because he's been suing Corporate America and the government agencies that are captured by Corporate America for polluting and injuring people, winning billions of dollars in judgments for the last 40 years.
I think Bobby wants us to trade Crony Capitalism for Conscientious Capitalism. I'm for that!

I've noticed while trying to share Bobby's videos that even comments on videos get censored. It's usually on news networks or channels that slander bobby that I've had it happen, I'll post a comment or reply but it doesnt go up if it has his name in it. Has anyone had this issue?

Healing Farms: Better than these for profit racket of sober living homes taking up our single family housing. They don’t rehabilitate. They kick them out out on our streets as soon as insurance runs out and then a lot of these people make up the homeless in California.

Heard an interesting idea from someone recently where they were encouraging all their Trump friends to start advocating for RFK to Biden voters to "steal votes" and vice-versa. Get all sides working towards the same goal.
I think several states have already decided to go with the popular vote rather than the electoral college vote. So we may just have a better chance for a 3rd party win this time around. I sure hope so, because the other choices we've had (tried and tested) have not made the cut. All they want is to divide us until chaos erupts.

Either administration would be doing a lot of good to consider RFK Jr for some kind of Cabinet position or the equivalent to keep this work up, maybe coordinate with mayors nationwide, find solutions to help turn this trend around.

I watched this in Albuquerque today. It was great to see Bobby Kennedy in person. I've donated every month since he announced, and so it was great to see him in person, and I learned a lot about solutions to addiction.
$25 to $35 is a living wage, I was making $24 an hour and my girlfriend making over $20 and we're still struggling. Jobs need to be created, good paying jobs because it's hard to find anything in my area over $18 an hour to start. I have a college degree and still can't find anything that pays enough to pay the bills. I truly believe Bobby can and will fix it
I doubled my income with a new job making $60k a year and was denied my rental applications at everywhere I applied due to being labelled as "cost-burdened" and an unaffordable liability. We live in a country now where $60k a year is too poor to even get a roof over your head, I believe Bobby can and will fix this!

I personally lost a few friends to fentanyl ODs. I've struggled with my own addictions. I have friends and family that also struggle. This is an issue that affects all Americans. We have to find a solution. Our country is sick, but I know we can find a way towards healing.
The other two candidates don't actually care about the people. That's apparent in their policies and rhetoric. They won't even touch this issue, along with various other issues that strike at the core of every American-no matter their social status. RFK Jr time and time again shows us that he's the man for the job. He can help lead us into a hopeful tomorrow. Something we can all achieve together.

Kennedy sure has a way of attracting great people. I just want to call your attention to a great example of that. I'm talking about YOU! US! I'm reading through the comments and I'm just amazed at "us." I've been on other CZcams channels where Kennedy is the subject and I see the same positive energy. I've also been on various channels where a different candidate is the subject and I see comment after comment that is full of doom, despair, frustration or silly talk. I think we are going to find a way to help Bobby get elected in November. Every positive and constructive thing we say about our hero is going to be seen by somebody and repeated. I’m a recovering heroin addict with a little over 8 of sobriety and seeing this was really inspiring and illustrates that recovery on a nationwide and worldwide scale is 100% possible
When I got sober, I was surrounded by people just the guys and girls on that farm and that’s what kept me going even when I wanted to leave everyday and get high.
On my own, it never would have happened

I do wish he had talked about giving people help who are getting off prescription antidepressants, benzodiazepines and other psychotropics who have developed a physical dependency. This is a serious problem for many who wish to get off these meds as they don’t help everyone and they do hurt too many.

Alot of the issues we face today are consequences of bad policy. When you remove religion from school, when you slap people on the wrist for crimes, when you defund the police, when you make everyday living impossibly hard, when you allow cartels to bring even more drugs into our country you create a weak country and damage its citizens. We need to fix this. We need to strengthen our country and take care of eachother. Bobby is the only one talking about this and realizing that to fix many problems we need to go back to the main root if the problem first. Recovering alcoholic and addict here with 1 1/2 years sober.
I live in rural west TN where addicted/homeless people are extremely underserved. A place where Trump will win no matter what. So this November, instead of voting for the lesser of two evils, I will be voting for my principals and for my own sovereign voice. I will vote for the person who is most likely to help the people like I was once was. Not everyone are as fortunate or blessed as me. Most of us don't make it out. Now I don't know if Bobby will ever see this comment. But if he does, I would say this... Sir, if you are elected, I implore you to do something about rural addiction. As bad as things are in the cities right now, its just as bad out here. The difference is that it's silent. Its partially invisible. So much help is needed and everything is so underfunded. Please bring attention to our rural communities that are in desperate need of drug and alcohol recovery services.
