definitely had to leave a comment on here.. I'm 25 years old, got baptized in October 2016, gave up watching pornography completely within a few months of getting baptized then suddenly came down with lyme, candida, food poisoning, just a whole bunch of stuff. I've been very frustrated the last few days, as I have not been getting better. I am completely bed ridden in severe pain 24/7. I and am wondering why God is allowing me to go through this. So today I prayed for a blessing, in any way possible because I just have been growing very impatient. Anyways, when the video first started Derek said some people get to 5 months and 29 days and give up, but they don't know that if they would have waited 1 more day God would have ended the trial. 5 months and 29 days is literally the amount of time that has gone by since I stopped watching porn. I certainly needed to hear this today, and I hope that my short little testimony can help someone else out as well. God Bless

Speak to you soul like David did saying, *why are you downcast within me O my soul and why are you so quiet within me trust again in the Lord* yes hope again one more time.

Not necessarily. Sometimes things get so bad that people expire. I've seen miracles, and I've seen tragedy where the miracle didn't come. Both are part of life in this world - the latter maybe even moreso for Christians.
With all due respect, I sometimes wonder if some of my brethren and sisters even live in this world. If anything, this flies in the face of even what Derek himself taught - admitting that there are situations when God's unscrutable sovereign will does not allow for example healing for someoene. As if we don't have the Bible - read in full, it conveys the same message, regardless of what the Osteens of the day "motivate" and "inspire" their gullible audiences with.
Sometimes, the victory is only on the other side.
Ai was diagnosed with cancer the first week of June I was never seriously sick a day in my life I never had any thing that aspirin or an antibiotic could not take care of and I'm 61 well my cancer was grade 3 which means on a scale of 1 to 3 3 is the most aggressive you can get and I was also stage 4 which is about as advanced as it can get I had to go through very strong chemo and a very long surgery but I had people praying for me and I prayed and thanked God for my healing and I just had a cat scan and a pet scan and today my pet scan results came back all the cancer is gone I am cancer free thank you God thank you Jesus never give up many days I was so tired but my faith in the most high kept me going never I repeat never give up God faithful

I saw this great man of god only once live. He was an old man just before he died , he talked about feeding the poor. The man had a standing ovation at the end of the preach. He was highly respected in Christian circles. His simple, direct delivery to often deep subjects. Men like him don’t come along very often...

Me too, I had it easy for a while. Now I feel the wait for my breakthrough is a tad too long.
I know this is old but someone might see it that needs it. A new Christian should read the first 12 chapters in Exodus. This is what God is doing in each of our lives. We are in Egypt in slavery. Then He delivers us. It's a honeymoon stage. Then He leads us to the red sea. He even parts it for us. Then we are taken into the wilderness to be tested.
You guys are experiencing the wilderness and testing. Don't give up or quit. God is right there, leading you with a pillar of fire. He feeds you with manna and gives you water to drink. Keep trusting Him and believing in Him. Read Exodus, study it, pray, praise Him. Don't go back to Egypt.

I’ve been waiting 25-years through tremendous and perennial storms and trials.
This man was overflowing with the fruits of the Spirit. His speech was gentle and careful.
Please pray for me! Something terrible happened to me as a result of my rebelling and stubbornness! I have taken the Lord for granted so much! The spirit of Satan I think tried to enter me! I screamed and called on Jesus to forgive me and keep me from destruction! I took the Lord for granted to again smoke one more time and a ball of fire appeared to my left it scared me but not to the point of what came next within 30 minutes! Me and my daughters mother aren’t married and we live in a van with our daughter our third van within three years! When ever we seem to make lee way something comes and knocks our little saving right out! I believe at the time that I had right to divorce the women I married and divorced throughout the years now I have a 9 year old daughter and we are on our third van living in them! I was confused about marijuana but now I am 1000 percent not confused about it! I am done and am repented from all my sins! Please pray for me! I am starting this message over again and listen! I am glad to have found your broadcast

Ive been using drugs for about a yesr now. I am a father of three and just have not coped at all the past 10 years. I am at the end of the line but the Lord keeps prompting me to watch this as if it were made for me. I just want to encourage you that God is faithful. Offer your suffering up to him - he will take it and use it to make you whole again.
I really needed to hear this today. I'm going through some very difficult times. In a real spiritual battle and I was so so close to giving up but praise the Lord in God's strength I didn't. I would appreciate any prayers for me and my endurance and getting to the end. Thank you.

I live with my sister and her son. I've been praying for 10 years for my nephew to turn from being a heroin addict and turn to follow Jesus. In that time he's been in prison for stealing to support his habit, he's been in hospital for a spinal abscess caused by drugs, he's lied and stolen. I have prayed, fasted and prayed, and prayed some more, but I sometimes struggle to pray. It's the waiting and feeling like no words that are prayed are effective. When I feel I've run out of words, I pray in tongues. Yet still he is using heroin. Lord, please bring deliverance.
Praying in tongues is the best thing you can do for him and for yourself too. Doing it will help you both at the same time. May you have the precious Holy Spirit PEACE that surpasses understanding.

Praise the Lord and Glory to God. The Lord lead me to this video, I needed to hear this message. For awhile now, I've been having to constantly rebuke and cast down. The most wicked, cruel and perverted thoughts and fantasies, that kept popping into my head. There were moments where it felt like the Lord abandoned me, and I felt like giving up. But I kept holding on and enduring this overwhelming mental madness, then bam. The Lord lead me to this video out of blue. The Lord recently delivered me from the exact same thing. In the past, I used to watch pornography, but even after I was delivered from it, everyday i was being oppressed by the enemy, with past images I had seen, and perverted thoughts thrown at me. I would rebuke them and speak the Word of God but still each day they returned. I did not know where it was coming from, because I did not want to watch pornography or fulfill the perverted thoughts, they were not tempting me, they were only making me grow weary and I begin to believe that I would have to live with them. Then thanks be to God, I went on a 21 day fast of omitting meat and coffee ( a huge sacrifice for me) and at the end of the 21 days I asked the Lord if I was taking captive my thoughts correctly, so he led me to do a study on it. I went to youtube and typed in taking thoughts captive and came across a pastor named Jimmy Evans. I listen to his message and learned how he was delivered from thoughts of pornography with biblical meditation. I then read his book on biblical meditation which is only about 80 pages( I found the kindle edition on amazon for 5 bucks) Before reading this book, I thought mediation was speaking a memorized scripture but it is more than that. the first day after applying this to my life I was free! The Lord delivered me. I felt as though my mind was cleansed. I also realized through reading this book that the enemy was not trying to tempt me but he as accusing God. He wanted me to believe that God could not deliver me from this and wear me down to complacently and eventually giving up or into not trusting God anymore. Consider these verses Joshua 1:8 - "And this book of law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you shall be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous and then have good success." Also read Psalm 1:1-4 which supports Joshua 1:8 and there are so many other verses about meditating on the Word. Meditating is literally setting your mind on the Spirit, which the Scriptures tell us is "life and peace". Please read this book if you are continuing to struggle with this. Pastor Evans explains so much that i do not have the room to explain here. It is called " A mind set free," by Jimmy Evans. If you get the kindle version you can read it today in the kindle app on your phone or online. I am praying for you.

The answer to Derek's question of why he was called a friend of God is in the bible. it says in psalm 25:14 "God reserves friendship for those that fear him". Abraham feared God. Only through fearing God do you give God the reverence He deserves and the obedience.

You cant truly repent to be saved if you dont see yourself as a sinner. you see yourself as God sees you and you are fearful of impending judgement to hell. so you repent. That fear keeps you from deliberate sin all the days of your life hence God calls you a friend. deliberate sinners are not friends of God i dont care if they are pastors or have been church goers for 50 years they are those that say lord lord but do not do the things he says. hypocrits.
So because God is a mighty mighty holy God, we fear him because we are living in such a fallen state of flesh. We understand that God loves us but more than love God is Holy and he will not contend with man if man turns to sin. God is love until you stsrt to give him a bad witness then he judges. That is the healthy fear of the Lord. There is no salvation without it.
Nicholas Robinson sorry that's not the truth. You are just posting your opinions. 1st according to the scriptures salvation is by faith in Christ Jesus alone and not of any kind of works (Ephesians 2:8 ). After we are saved then good works becomes our new nature.
2nd if you are fear God(Father), the way you described. Then you don't love God. Because you pretending to love him and trying to keep his commandments so you will not enter hell. 1 john 4:18 kjv There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
You have to love God(Father) the way you love your parents. We fear our parents in a loving way. Not the fear of them truly killing us, if we offend them.
But the only people that should fear God in such a way are the unbelievers who are not his children. . Because for we know Romans 8 38(kjv) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hahahah yes sir, I find its always in the last minute that abundance of grace is given to me. I once moved to the other side of my country, with zero plan, no job, nowhere to stay and just enough cash for the fuel and tolls. Many said im out of my mind, but I arrived at the coast mid afternoon, I sat watching the waves and as the sun began to set I received a call from a guy I know who lives out there, anyways he offered me a roof for a day or two, on the second day circumstances made a gorgeous beach front mansion available while the owner was away and somehow I was there to receive the offer, third day I was given a lead to a job that needed my exact skill set, and on top of that I got paid the inland higher wage....all I did was drive away from my lifelong home knowing im looked after.
God is faithful! I so needed to hear this Word today... He sent His Word and healed me. In His faithfulness He afflicted me that I may love Him more and not give up!

What most don't know was how accomplished he was academically and intellectually he was before joining ministry...the youngest Fellowship in Philosophy at Oxford University at only 24 years old...later he counted it nothing for the excellence of Christ..he also did tremendous missionary work in Kenya and raised up undiluted men of God like Apstl Joe Kayo who is still going strong till now...there at very few men of Derek Prince currently.. all we hear is money and cheap grace...we need a revival of the good, old gospel..

Listening to this was a blessing. I wasn't even looking for it. But God is faithful and He is always on time. I was about to give up on several ministries at my church but this sermon was exactly what I needed. I was called to my childhood church after leaving it and promising never to return after being falsely accused. But the Lord called me through three different ministers that I had to go back and be part of something great that the Lord is going to do there. Since I've been back it's been attack after attack. The enemy is using my own mother against me. The enemy has tried to infiltrate my marriage and turn my husband and I into rivals. But I will not give up. I will trust on the Lord and believe in His will for my life. Thanks and God bless.

i have been under severe oppression for almost 6 months...i have been so concerned it was demonic forces..i finally felt total freedom yesterday. it was a long hard battle.. and people think you are crazy when you waging that battle..Faith has got to be the hardest thing to hold on to when you are suffering like that..let them think i am crazy .i follow Elohim and His will and thats all that matters
I always think... well there is no option other than to wait!!!
So this is my testimony about getting back into the church after 10 years of being out of it. For awhile I was an atheist and then an agnostic, however, God delivered me out of a difficult and strange period of my life that left me without doubt of His existence and goodness.
It's a bit of a long read, so bear with me.
A couple weeks into February of 2018 I experienced some dreams of a strange nature during a time where I was isolated, depressed, and desperate. I've dealt with anxiety and depression for along time and I was at the end of my rope. I had considered seriously commiting suicide two years ago and when the depression hit this time I couldn't take it anymore. I was searching desperately for something that would allow me to leave the situation I was in.
I was addicted to gaming and was very isolated. I also fell heavily into a series of books I was re-reading at the time that I had a great obsession with, The Dark Tower series by Stephen King.
A few months into a reread of this series I had a dreams in February 2018 one of which I think was prophetic, having to do with seeing a woman and man in the dream that I later saw the next day while walking and while watching TV. This was a man and woman that I hadn't met or seen before.There were also aspects of the dreams (which I can't easily get into because it's difficult to explain due to the content) that led me to believe that The Dark Tower series having to do with parallel universes was real.
I became convinced that there was a world parallel to ours, like the books, that I could gain access to if I used certain objects that I had in my possession . After weird events also began occuring in my home, with my television, and with me, I told my parents about all of it.
They were adamant that what I was experiencing was demonic deception and that I should cease reading these books and give myself over to God.
Being stubborn and delusional I decided to continue in what I thought was a great discovery and a way out of my situation.
Events transpired over the next few days that left me in a state of confusion and despair. My father also ended up in the hospital that week. It wasn't until I began to cry out to Jesus that things began to change. I began to hear from God during this time. I felt like I should rid myself of the books as well as the stuff I had gathered connected to them.
I eventually ended up getting rid of all the books and objects connected to them, as well as a lot of other stuff including my games. We were doing some work in my room at the time so luckily I had something to help keep my mind off what had been happening as well as grow in the word from listening to 107.9 on my radio.
When we finally returned to church a couple weeks later the sermon and series was about the book of Daniel, some of which has to do with prophetic dreams and visions among other things. I know now that this wasn't a coincidence.
Once I started getting involved in the church again and reading the Bible I found out that these things really aren't as uncommon or unbelievable as they seem. My mens bible study at the time had members that had experienced supernatural and amazing things as well.
I know this isn't going to sound credible if you aren't a Christian. Back when I didn't believe, these stories didn't seem compelling or true to me. However I can tell you that if you reach out to God wholeheartedly he will reveal himself to you.
I'd like to ask that if you're going through something right now, some kind of challenge or difficulty that you reach out to God and ask him to help you. Sometimes it may not seem like anything is happening, but if you're willing to hold on and push through you can see him move in your situation in miraculous ways.
If any of you would like to receive or feel led to receive Jesus Christ as your saviour pray this and believe it with all your heart. ❤️
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and there is nothing that I can do to save myself. I confess my complete helplessness to forgive my own sin or to work my way to heaven. At this moment I trust Christ alone as the One who bore my sin when He died on the cross. I believe that He did all that will ever be necessary for me to stand in your holy presence. I thank you that Christ was raised from the dead as a guarantee of my own resurrection. As best as I can, I now transfer my trust to Him. I am grateful that He has promised to receive me despite my many sins and failures. Father, I take you at your word. I thank you that I can face death now that you are my Savior. Thank you for the assurance that you will walk with me through the deep valley. Thank you for hearing this prayer. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
