"At least it doesn't hurt to think anymore" Change my mind I have a video on this metaphor and other in the series in the works, if your potentially interested
@@dodonixx953 Not to say you're wrong, but I think this scene has a lot of interpretations. That's a damn good one, admittedly, and it'll likely be my favorite, but much like a lot of DHMiS, it's a smorgasbord of allegories and concepts, some of which overlap. After all, the creators of the series like people to find their own meanings in their work, and don't like to pin any one scene down as being an allegory for one thing.
One thing I find interesting is how each of them, in different episodes, try to break the chains of the show while the others are mostly unable. Duck tries in the Jobs and Family episodes, Yellow Guy in the Electricity episode, and Red Guy in the Transport episode, while in the friendship and death episodes, the trio seem to all be acting within the confines of the world. Each of them at some point gain awareness and try to break free, but they haven’t been able to together, and each seem incapable of doing so alone.
Neither of them can work without the other(s), because of this, they’ll always repeat the same day over and over. At least that’s what I think it means.
One thing I've noticed is how like, resistant to change everyone is in the series, particularly Duck and Yellow Guy. I can't explain it but it feels important somehow
I might be overthinking this a bit but at 0:10 Duck sounds like he’s on the verge of tears, we saw Red guy’s “I’m not going back to the house” breakdown in the previous episode and I think Duck was about to break down himself and the concern in his voice when he says “But he’s…he’s…gone wrong” shows that even if he doesn’t show it, he does care for Yellow guy to some extent and Red guy telling duck to “just ignore him” is him trying to calm Duck down because he doesn’t want Duck to have a breakdown as he did. TLDR: this scene is Duck’s emotional breakdown moment and he genuinely cares for Yellow guy.
“Have we gone wrong?” “I don’t think so. This doesn’t feel wrong… at least it doesn’t hurt to think anymore.” “But they seem upset with us.” “Hmm… well, maybe, they’re not in charge of us anymore.” “Maybe they never were.”
This feels kinda relatable in a way. Imagine someone telling you you’ve gone wrong and then looking at yourself in a mirror and asking if you really have.

Idk. The entire program change or kill a character when they start to question their existence in that place. After the last episode maybe he just "change" (srry for bad English)
I saw someones theory that as the show went on red guy tried to resist and it just got so overwhelming he gave up and started going along with it, not wanting to deal with it anymore, and in doing so dismissed whatever was going on with Yellow guy because he just mentally couldn't cope with what was happening in the nightmare house anymore and that hit kiiinda haard
@@ParaFox404 I'll be sure to add that to the instances I relate to Red guy a bit more than is probably healthy 😅. Like someone else pointed out, he just tries his best to play along despite hating the nightmare they live in just as much Yellow guy and Duck do. This is my favorite moment in the entire series.
When the Red guy says " Let's get back on track" , he also says in the background "What about the table cloth, could the table cloth be electric"
I’m sorry but I laughed my ass off at the tiny little frame of the mirror dude appearing at the end 😂
The way they say that he’s gone wrong, and how they notice something is happening that normally shouldn’t makes this probably my favorite clip
