Ay coach just wanted to say thank you for ur help, ur videos have helped a lot during quarantine and they’ve helped me feel better with my mechanics and overall just better performance on the field. I knew I needed to step up my game ever since I didn’t make it on my high school team. Thanks sm again 🙏 🙏🙏
Thanks coach. Cant wait to bring this to practice. Currently we are in lockdown in the Netherlands and all sports are suspended. Hopefully we can play ball in 2021 again. Stay safe everybody and best wishes.
I’m a 17 year old who’s finally getting back into baseball and these videos have really been helping me I’m looking into being a relief pitcher or a center feilder did you have any tips?
Hey Champ, can you do 1 on 1 hone or video discussions? I have a couple of issues I'd like to review with you: 1) the successful results in BP not transferring to games and 2) how to deal with there mental anguish of 0-4 games and continued. Would be interested in some 1 on 1 if available
Question, in the fall my hitting mechanics were at an all time high. I have just one video of my swing from back then. I didn’t swing the bat for a month and I forgot the exact hand placement. Now the middle of the bat is basically touching my helmet. Also my hands are now more down. I have been having tough time fixing the problem during this long offseason. It will be much appreciated if you respond.
Remember, your stance is just a starting point... so as long as it’s not causing any other issues I wouldn’t worry too much about it. That being said, an easy way to get into a decent stance as far as hand placement is to put the handle of your bat on your neck and your knob facing the catcher. From there, just lift off a few inches and you’ll be at a pretty solid starting point!
I agree very good job all right on on plane with the pitch was first pointed out by Ted Williams l practice my swing religiously ok But when you move into a position to hit l prefer. To think of this as moving into the power plane on an optimal pitch to hit as l heard one ex big leagues pitcher point out the pitch can take many planes so if you move into that position you did such a good job of describing you are also in a position to react and a better position to not chase ok l l saw a thing on sabr about the twist model which you are demonstrating that's what l have always felt myself look at John Schelee video on the power plane featuring Ben Hogan and Joe Morgan also the Hogan twist my father was a hard hitting minor leaguer in the 50s who got on wrong side of branch Rickey he had a swing that resembled Ralph Kiner but my dad used top hand in punching position which is not knuckle lining he made a little twist move of his hands but then untwisted to get into the power plane and ended up in a good position going thru recently l have been studying the role of the hands important to note the palms only make up twelve and one half percent of the hand and certain fingers can get you in trouble John Schelee also breaks that down also l like the way you post that front leg. Well l really liked your video great job 6 things you start adding everything up you could come up with more and lead to confusion but if you deal with these 6 much better control also really agree one step at a time as one leads to another thanks
@@UltimateBaseballTraining lol my baseball training ended long time ago cuz y'know...Corona but I still watch your vids they way too good. your editing your explaining your tutorials they are all super good

Hey coach Justin, can you do a video of how to stay calm in the box because at times I get anxious and get to amped up at the plate, thanks!!
Take a deep breath before getting in the batter's box and between each pitch.
