Welcome to the Velotric club! You’re gonna love yours. Did you get the T1 or T1 ST?
@@anotherbikerider I got the T1; its suppose to rain down here all week unfortunately
@@edygomeVery Nice! I like the look of that frame better. Sale price on ST was too good at the time though. FYI I've riden mine in the rain with no issues. Anyways, enjoy!!
Very informative,I appreciate it.but dude I have to say yt is full of haters n bs,its gotten so toxic I actually started watching netflix😊
Whats the longest you've done on it? Considering options since im doing a 65 mile a day, 6 day trip on the Oregon coast. I'd buy the battery range extender for it
The furthest I’ve gone on a single charge was 57 miles. But that was with turning it off on flats for a good bit
if youre doing 65 then just buy the regular Thunder 1 the range is 70
What happens if you stop pedaling, does it glide well? Also for riding on the road, what tire pressure do you recommend? How does it do on hard packed gravel, rail trail, range?
It glides very well. It’s just like riding a regular bike on descents. Tire pressure is about 60 psi. It’s a road setup OOTB. Hard packed dirt/gravel is doable but bumpy. Range is great at at least 30-40 miles, sometimes more
Just purchased, wanted the sand color but both sizes sold out , only available in medium in lava , what are you using for odometer? Distance, Strava ?
I too had to go with lava for the same reason. Would have preferred sand but w/e. & I use Strava to track all my rides. Put in 600 miles already
@@anotherbikerider 600 on the st?
Ive had my bike for a couple of weeks. Have you noticed that it is very difficult to just ride slow or at a consistent speed? The torque sensing keeps you peddling faster to the point you are ghost peddling in lower gears. Or you must upshift. Even on Eco mode. Torque sensing seems to be only in one direction. To increase power. Not to decrease power when you apply less foot pressure. Please let me know if this is just my bike.
Not really, I find it matching my pedaling no matter what I'm doing. I get what you're saying, and I do feel the urge to go faster.
@@anotherbikerider It was some type of bug. Velotric corrected it by having me reboot the bike. Torque sensing is working fine now.
@@Greg-me8le how did you reboot?
What is an ebike that doesn't have throttle assist and keep you on pedaling??
It’s a class one e-bike. It’s for people who still want at the very least a minimal workout. Entirely up to you how much of a workout you want to get
