Just a short flight along the beach then to the harbour and back.
Amble, Northumberland. Hoped to see a couple of seals or maybe even a porpoise but probably need to be a bit further off shore.
I’m lucky enough to live here 2023 , not much has changed 🙏

John, I have just found your video ! It is amazing. I lived at Island View - The Salt Pans in the 70/80's. And BUILT the extention on the front of no.6. What a difference now, NEW sea wall, and the sea has claimed a lot of the surrounding Links. I would not like to live there now. How long before Island View is an Island ? !
Thank you Sally, so pleased you enjoyed the video. It all looked pretty solid to me at the time, but then I've seen those huge blocks of concrete at other places, sinking into the sand or falling into the sea, I expect they looked pretty solid at one time too.
