By far the two best teams in the world. Both teams just awesome to watch, Springbks lost their way back in 2014-2017 but are clearly on the rise from 2018

As a Kiwi what really pains me is to see someone of Nick Mallet's calibre not coaching a top level team. I suppose being your own man disqualifies you from some jobs. You can still see the competitive juices are still there.

i have seen worse clearouts from a ruck, from a refs point of view thats hard to penalise, cause it honestly doesnt look like he's gone into maliciously hurt louw. louw unfortunate to get injured

What a joke. Not only are his arms in use coming around but he is well committed to his clamour trajectory. If Loew hasn't seen him coming and attempted to initiate his own contact with McCaw the he would have clean him out both lower and with the arms even further around as Loew steps forward into this. The only thing wrong with this is how a modern tv program can slo-mo the footage...that tech has been around since the 50s and even my body photo can do that to a video edit now...guess it's more 'dramatic' showing it this way though eh!

This has to be 7 years ago … 2 white men being given an opportunity

How Mccaw got away with that is beyond me.

Probably the same way that Mtawarira got away with it at Ellis Park last year when he cleaned out McCaw using a shoulder charge to the jaw without being givien 10 in the bin. Shit happens.

Because what he did was not wrong, watch the game with binoculars on then see what the springboks do aswell ..

This video showing the stats only proof beyond all doubts that running rugby does not always win. There is more to it than jsut scoring tries., SA has lost a few tests by trying to score tries only.

only problem with you using those stats is the team with the better attacking rugby stats won.
in Meyers era, the Boks have only outscored the All Blacks once in 2014 at Ellis park, the only test that the Boks won in 8 attempts.
10 man rugby might be part of Sth African DNA, but if nothing is done to change that mindset, then expect tests like the pumas in the 2015 RC and Japan in the RWC to become common events.
