Rockefeller Historical National Park

This beautiful hiking area is located in the beautiful town of Woodstock Vermont. Whats amazing about this place is, it is totally for free with no need for a parking reservation. The only thing that is an upcharge here is the mansion tour which I didn't do that day.

Yeah this video ended up being way longer than I thought it would be. But that shows how impressed I was with this place. The town of Woodstock is also what has to be the most beautiful town in America.
I asked a park ranger who was nearby that fountain wondering what the heck that was. Turns out it was actually used as a drinking fountain for horses and cows to drink on. The roads you hike on use to be carriage roads. There is another hoarse drinking fountain later on in the video. I was also surprised to learn those drinking fountains go way back in the 1840's.
