The botanical and historical narrative is an extra bonus to these videos. That makes the hikes more than just a walk, it's a visit to what lives -- and who have lived -- in the wilderness, especially the hike in the Scioto country, land of the Shawnee. My wife & have hiked Bloodroot trail several times. Site 5 & 6 have great views of the lake. Camping there again next weekend - supposed to be very warm & nice.

I have been watching this channel every day and each time I see something new!! I just watched the episode where Andrew went into the Hot Springs in California, and it made me tear up. Man, this is a great time to explore the outdoors. As a Filipino, I was wondering if you guys ever thought of going to the Phillippines and explore the wonders of the beautiful white sand beaches and endless waterfalls, not to mention the hot springs.
This is the BEST video adventure with Andrew and Thomas! Thomas is so relaxed and HAPPY! Andrew treated Thomas well! :) Oh and Thomas made jokes too....sweet

One of the few channels whose 1 hour video I can sit through without getting restless! I really want to visit the US not for the usual touristy stuff but for hikes! As a person from South Korea which is too small to house lots of natural beauty, I really envy Americans.

Yay for the Bloodroot! It's about an hour from me, so I was surprised to see it. That's where I go if I just want a quick one-night trip. If you go out there again, hike the bike trail too-- it has more nice views of the lake.

I'm such a fan of you guys I love this video. I too have been isolated since March and it's now the end of July. I've done a few solo hikes and overnights but during this time of multiple crises I long for connection and the comfort and security of being with friends and being solo in the woods doesn't bring me the peace and solitude that it usually does when I also have the option of sharing my time in nature With Friends. So I could very much relate to your experiences your longing and loneliness even out in nature. By the way I live in Pittsburgh and there are so many backpacking trips I want to do in PA including the PA Grand Canyon, Quehoning Trail and more. These are pretty isolated pretty wild areas full of Wildlife. After covid-19 would you guys ever want to come to PA and meet up for a backpacking trip? Thanks for doing what you're doing and keep at it peace from Pittsburgh

The Bloodroot Trail! I live about 40 minutes from that and it's such an interesting hike with some great campsites and one of my favorite hammock spots in the state

I did Bloodroot trail last spring, it's a very nice and easy trail. Only a little over an hour from home.
We even stayed at the same campsite lol.

Discovered your channel a few weeks ago and quickly devoured all your content. Love what you guys are doing. Anyway, I wanted to recommend the Batona Trail as a future episode. The Batona Trail is 50 miles in length and cuts through the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrons. The Pines are a very unique wilderness and home to many one of a kind plant life. It would be awesome if you can make it happen.

Holy shit, you went to Salamonie! I never thought I'd see the Bloodroot Trail featured in an Adventure Archives video! I run that trail pretty often and have claimed the VERY unofficial FKT of it. Hopefully, this video boosts the popularity of the trail so that I get some competition/ an official FKT.
