You're so strong that Childe didn't even have time to show his best attack, which is literally throwing a mega whale at you. If you battle him again wait for him to launch this attack, it's pretty badass

Well seeing as he is lv 50 and when he fought Childe was only lv 33 trust me once you unlock Childe domain you have to fight him when he is lv 60 it's harder than it looks it took me 3 healers just to survive and I had lv 60 jean
Nah his best attack is the one where he plunge attacks. Imagine if you never figured out how to deal with it.

I've never caught the hints dropped when we met Keqing when she said "no mortal can repair an adeptus mechanism". Looking back, it wasn't us who repaired the guizhong ballista. It was Zhongli. We just helped get the materials.

OMG! I did not catch that at the time I played that part at all! So Morax was just being a cheeky bastard helping in the background this whole time. He was just prepping the mortals to handle the issue themselves, with a little "guidance". 💛

You know, it is absolutely mesmerizing to know that there is someone else who plays Genshin, loves the game and feels genuine emotions when such twists happen. As a viewer, I feel somehow validated and not alone. So thank you for your effort and, um, yeah. How are your nails doing? : D

It's a nice quest to understand the strenght of an Archon in his prime. The Guyun stone forest we all thought was just an island, is in fact the remaining of giant spears which Morax dropped on Osial to seal him

When I first found out about this I was incredibly surprised. For someone who has no mora on him Zhongli is surprisingly powerful xD

The remnants of the archons' feats are amazing. Let's not forget that Barbatos' wind cleaned up all of Mondstadt and gave it its nice weather. Before he arrived, everything was frozen like Dragonspine. The other archons did amazing things too, but Venti changed the ecosystem LOL!
Zhongli's 1'st story quest told more of it right? The story
First time I fought Childe he kicked my ass like 5 times. Then, the Chinese community complained about how hard it was and they nerfed him. I really enjoy hard boss battles that take several attempts
xD same I prefer harder but I understand the story mode nerf
Meanwhile i only used my first team against Childe, which consist of makeshift phys characters from the first banner. I still don't agree with the nerf 'till this day.
I agree it's a lot of fun when the bosses actually are hard unlike the Abyss Herald in the "we will be reunited quest" who's ass I beat with the starter team and shitty artifacts and weapons.

The childe bossfight was a lot more engaging before it got nerfed. You actually got challenged, and saw all his sick moves. You should try and let him do all of them when you replay the bossfight next, it actually looks so cool

@@BranOnline dude, the first time around it was so hard! I had to do it a couple of times before winning. I was probably a bit underleveled too, haha. But that freaking whale he throws at you, man... Not fun.
@@emmanuel7489 it actually was nerfed like the OP said. i never under leveled when i fought him in the past. it was really hard to fight him back then. but i still managed to win it. but some players complaining that he's too hard to fight. and then mihoyo decided to nerf him.
@@kulijawa9239 yep. if i remember right i believe he use to be at 10 levels higher then your current highest level, and also had double health and did 3 to 4 times the damage. also he had better aiming and tracking on his ranged attacks, and even his melee attacks had a slight homing effect on them. even with half decent artifacts he could 2 or 3 hit you with any attack, with the stronger attacks being a sure kill if you didn't have a shield, and he even had an instakill move that worked through shields. also the fight took minutes per phase.

Fun Facts: Signora was once a citizen of Mondstadt, around 500 years ago. Her then lover Rostam, went off an expedition to fight against monsters that came from Khaenri'ah(post destruction), while she was away studying pyro arts in Sumero. When she returned, she found that Rostam had died during the expedition. Out of despair, she used a lost pyro art that consumed her body in a liquid fire...burning her face and scarring her body the process. She was feared by people and was called the Crimson Witch of Flames, though she only burned monsters n demons. She wandered around Liyue, until one day she was recruited by the first Fatui Harbinger...and gave her a cryo delusion to suppress her fire

Ningguang is legit the closest to being a god out of any non-archon characters. Her power, her influence, her design. She is literally a deity in everything but title. I can't believe she's a 4 star.

She was one of the two who were nerfed down to be a Four star cause there were to many five stars. Originally both Barbara and Ningguan was supposed to be five star.

The music, the animation, the plot... These are the reasons why the archon quest in Liyue is my most favorite. Now we'll wait for you to encounter the Immovable God in Inazuma but I suggest you do Zhongli's story quest first to know more about the lore of this game before heading to Inazuma.

His story quest has two parts, I believe. It’s still among my favorite story arcs in the game (Liyue in general, but Zhongli’s character quests more particularly). I love the entirety of Genshin Impact, but they still have not topped this combined story arc for me.
I remember fighting him when he came out. The fight wasn't hard at all and I haven't even whaled at the time yet.
You should do childe's story quest too then you will get to know him more

I hated his character quest and it made me dislike him more. I didn’t feel like it did anything to redeem him, and if anything revealed parts of his personality that I really don’t like (when I was just ‘meh’ about him before that). It could go either way. Some people really like his character quest, but just as many don’t.
@@TangledRivers understandable. Many people can't forgive him because he tried to sink liuye but character like him first appear as antagonists and then become good character helping the main character to their fullest

Don't know if you'll see this but if you ever want to pause in a domain, you can hit F1, F2 or F3 to bring up the battle pass and such. It will pause the time for good ^w^

The Childe and Osial fights are probably some of my favorites in this game. Between the animation and music and story twists it’s so good! I loved seeing you react to it, and I’m excited to see how you react to future events! (No spoilers!)

When I ran this questline, I had my suspicions about Zhongli. How was he so knowledgeable about ancient traditions yet had no clue about the cost of a transaction? Certainly his position as a consultant at a funeral parlor gives him some credibility, but even so, I found him extremely suspicious, even more so after doing a bunch of ceremonies that people of Liyue called ancient by their standards. His voice actor is so good and convincing though.
Even with my suspicions, it was mindblowing to find out that Zhongli was the Geo Archon all along. I had first suspected that he was one of the adepti that assisted the Geo Archon like Xiao, Mountain Shaper or Ganyu, hence his vast knowledge of ancient rituals but not that he himself was the Geo Archon and was playing 5D chess against everyone, even his old allies and friends, while the rest of us scrambled around like chickens without their heads. This is why Zhongli is my favorite character. He is straightforward and truthful when questioned, but willing to get his hands dirty and even play mind games if the situation calls for it.
He's such a good character overall
For me it was just looking at the statues of the seven …. In monstadt the statues are fairly obviously venti. And the statues in liyue , the morax in the chair is a perfect likeness of zhongli. In inazuma their archon is not hidden and directly interacts with the people as their ruler but the same statue likeness applies though the lineage and dual nature of the archon in inazuma is…… complicated
The thing that tipped me off about Zhongli being the archon is that which human have the freaking power to throw a space rock

When I first did this quest, Inazuma wasn't out yet and so I thought this was the peak of Genshin cut scenes amd boss fights, but then after finishing the Inazuma archon quest, Everything just keeps getting better and better. The Inazuma situation is so good that it blows me away. Can't wait for all the other nations. Pretty sure mihoyo will keep topping it off nation by nation. Imagine what chaos will our traveller be put through in Shneznaya HAHAHA. You will fight all the Harbingers at once lol.

If you would play Honkai you should know, miHoYo is always make every cutscene to a new peak.
They do it with Honkai Impact 3rd every time, and it's a much older game.
Every time they release something like this, you'll think it's the best they can't beat this. And they'll do.
Even if you don't play Honkai, it's enough if you just watch the cinematics of that game to prove it.

he is not bad and have a kind side but cannot say he is truly good
he only care for what the Cryo Archon want, his family and ofc fighting my man is a battle freak

Childe had no idea Zhongli would have intervened, it was a gamble, he was willing to let everyone in the city die.
It’s always funny to me watching content creators react to the Liyue story quest. Many people experience frustration after uncovering the truth, and can’t help but feel angry about it. I think this is largely due to cultural differences. Liyue is, after all, modelled after China; and Zhongli, its god, is ultimately based on this nation as well. If you notice, a lot of characters’ actions may not make sense to you or to many, but when i first experienced the quest, i felt like it made perfect sense.
If you notice, none of the qixing, or adepti were remotely upset. Because their values align with those of duty, ancestry, and following the teachings they’ve dedicated their lives to. As someone with chinese ancestry, I felt empathy with their desire to serve their country and follow in their god’s steps and understood why they viewed this as an honor, instead of a burden.
Sorry for the long comment, but i hope this can help understand a little bit where this storyline is coming from.

@@BranOnline yes, they definitely pack the storyline in a very short amount of time. I think doing the individual character stories will clear up some things as well. Especially xiao's, ganyu's, childe's and both of zhongli's.

if you want more context about what zhongli meant by "convincing myself that cracks had not begun to form and that the end of my time had not yet come" his 2nd story quest offers some of it. It also unlocks a world boss that has the materials you need to level up talents (if memory serves correctly, yanfei's) also keep up the good work! really loving the uploads :)

I feel bad for Childe, they deceived him to do something against his principles and believes, he didn't wanted to this, still Zhongli had other ways but he preferred to put a whole city into danger.
This brings back memories! I remember how much I loved the fight against Childe, when he came with his three stages and two elements as a suprise. The boss battle against the ancient god was really intense too!
Don't forget to also unlock the Character Chapters! If you want to e. g. see Childe being played by a child or fight against someone really strong.

I remember when they first introduced Tartaglia as a new boss, a lot of people struggle to defeat him.
That was the time when the destroy the balloon commission is so hard that you can not complete it solo unless you have Diluc or Keqing, now it's the easiest commission.

@@Best-SiLenZ Everything else at that point was level 40-50 ish, the boss was simply just lower level than most enemies which was odd. Characters may be strong but the reason why the fight is a alot easier than most remember, is because it was heavily nerfed
@@BranOnline Think most of the difficulty (or lack of) in the first 2 archon quests is bc they didn't expect anyone to have proper builds at this point (also summon as much so early into the game), it's slightly mitigated in inazuma as things are more based on mechanics rather than just hp. The childe fight shouldn't have ever been nerfed either (or at least for the first time playthrough), it's by far the easiest of the weekly bosses.
@@BranOnline I think so too, when I reach this quest I struggling many times use many foods and potions (though my character isn't leveled well at that time). After that, I heard that many casual people cannot playthrough Childe so the dev decided to nerf him, atleast in the story quest, you can still enjoy him as a world boss.
Well, personally I still think that you kinda strong, cause I saw many new streamer struggled more than you lol.

When that explosion happened in the end I was smiling and started to clap. These Archon quests are incredible, the production values and the overall story is amazing. The game is amazing no doubt of it.

it is pretty strange that we don't have a standard geo 5* yet. We got a dendro one before we got a Geo.
Ningguan would've been the perfect candidate for it, since she'd complement Zhongli's Support kit (which was VERY heavy on support in his original form) as a geo main/sub-dps. But is always going to be held back by being a 4* Main/Sub-dps.

It reveals another side to him and is a big part of the reason why he’s still a big fan favorite despite almost destroying Liyue.

Ohhh so I know why Childe said "didn't know you have the card up your sleeve" because we could use multiple elements but he didn't know so he thought we had a Geo Delusion (like him using both Electro and Hydro) but then he didn't get the Gnosis from the Exuvia so he misunderstood that we have the Geo Gnosis so he went all out to get it from us. Pretty cool

This is by far my favorite quest. I have been playing the game since the first version, but only after doing this quest I truly fell in love with the story. It had everything! Drama, betrayal, good fights, history, politics! Plus the animation is so good! So exciting.

I loved this quest as well, somehow they always know how to end the Archon questlines with a bang and i hope they keep it up in the next region as well(the one after Inazuma)
And i gotta say, i love these videos, i always try to catch your streams(I'm Weertangel btw) becouse they are always so wholesome :)
And i love Childe, to him a rival is a friend, regardless of affiliation, and i think he will be the only Harbinger that ever will become playable since the rest are exstremely hostile to the player so far.

Both Monstadt and Liyue's Quests were all so beautifully done in my opinion, You will not be disappointed in Inazuma's quests + the Setting of Inazuma was so beautiful I'm sure you'll be amazed by it 🤩

i loooved you so much i started to watch every time you upload also the facial facial expression in Ningguang cutsence then they were fighting the ocean good got me feelings of joy and excitement and the end the sadness of what happened with ninggaung and her jade champer and how you was enjoying that moment. I really wish genshin impact would develop something as excited fight and arc as this one. Thank you so much i really enjoy the video and reactions to it.
