In 1980’s mode, Ryoba almost got arested for one bloodstain, so it’s reasonable that she wants to make sure her daughter wouldn’t make the same mistake.

Not gonna lie, if I was Ryoba's senpai, I'd count myself blessed. The only person she isn't willing to kill, and the sheer amount of work she put into getting with him and securing a "happy" family, I mean how could you not feel valued.

I actually think in a twisted way this was the mother’s way of showing affection. She probably sensed her daughter was similar to her and anticipated future events, so in a way she wanted to guide her on how to successfully be a yandere. And, hopefully, help her to be successful in winning over her Yandere just like the mother.

I wish Princess Rizu would have voiced Ryoba for 1980's mode. I love Michaela's voice acting but I think Ryoba should sound more different/distinct so that they actually feel like separate characters yk instead of sounding the same.

I think they need to change the voice of Ayano instead cuz she looks younger than her mother was (even if technecly both are 18 when we play her)and the voice more sound like a young woman than a teenager (and Ayano's laugh sound very childish) A bit younger voice for Ayano will be perfect.

Based of the 1080’s mode in the game we now know that the yandere trait is a dominant gene in the mother’s side of the family. Based on a timeline that yandere dev placed when you get an s+ rank on the end of the route. It tells the Tory of how the ayano family and the saiko family went hand in hand over the years starting with the mother’s great grandma and her senpai down to ayano and her senpai. So she’s just doing the same thing her mother taught her. I find that incredibly interesting especially as time moves on the tradition stays strong.

It probably is a usuba boochoo (Japanese vegetable knife), but honestly looks more like a caidao (Chinese all purpose knife, including vegetables). Caidao is Chinese but has spread a lot to other regions through trade and globalization. It should be noted that caidao is too thin and light to cleave meat/bones (might break if you try), and is designed to be used akin to a chefs knife and to cut veggies and such.
These knives do resemble western cleavers but in an Asian context, it can be assumed that these knives are used/made for vegetables/all-purpose and aren’t western meat cleavers. I used to be confused at my mom chopping veggies with what looked like a cleaver until she explained it to me lol

Probably not, bleach gives false-positives with luminol and the school uses bleach for cleaning time so it would basically make the whole school glow if the police tried to use it
