Hi I am Mommabear2many many! Mom to 14 children 12 of my children still live here at home. We have a baby due in October! Join me in my day to day life as we prepare enough food to feed a small army! What a great price for the Crayola markers and crayons! They can be quite pricey but are good quality. Whenever I was replenishing stock, I put any older colouring pens, pencils etc that still had some usability, into a drawstring bag with activity books like the ones you bought and would put it over the headrest of the seat in front of the little one to keep her amused in the car or when visiting people who might not have children or toys to play with.
The more older I've gotten the more I wilt in the heat. Try freezing a wet cloth and use on the back of your neck or forehead for some temporary relief. Also good for headaches. Have a blessed day 🙏❤️🏴
I feel you on the wilting factor. Yes I always save the older ones as well.
I love the Ticonderoga pencils. They are a little more expensive but I can get away with sending half used pencils with my kids to school because they last so well. The tips don’t seem to break right after I sharpen them. It saves my sanity

I honestly don't know how people in Florida and Texas do it with the heat. We had record temps here about three years ago, it officially hit 115 here, we have an air conditioner that gets put in every summer. It was 88 in our house, and my thermometer said 117 outside. Gross, plus the humidity just makes it feel worse. Our really bad highs here are like maybe 106, so it was crazy that year, but the animals came through with flying colors. We just let the chickens free range so they could find shade, plus we put up a mister for them in the yard and the ducks could have cared less😂 Luckily I didn't have the rabbits that year, but we had a place in our garage, an inner room that is insulated well and stayed like 70 degrees, so if that happens again, we know where to put them. Anyway, I feel your pain about the heat. Ugh!! Hang in there! Glad you guys have a pool😂
I lived in FL for a few years it hones was different because there is ac everywhere. I stayed in a lot midsummer yucky

Our portable ac just started blowing out hot air 😢 we got another fan its still a little uncomfortable but a blessing to have something rather than nothing 😊
Oh no about your ac! I use fetch. I used to use ibotta but rarely buy name brand so didn’t earn much. Never heard of shop kick I’ll look it up thanks.

I live in WV and the AC I have in my mobile home is ancient so I feel your pain it was 98° in my house the other day and the humidity was 83%...I used to say Summer was the best season but now that I'm getting older fall/winter are easier on my body 😂 Try and stay cool and enjoy that pool as much as possible mama🏊♂️❤❤❤

Do most homes in Maine not have AC? I am in Texas. We have our ac going constantly and it is still hot!! Stay cool and hydrated!
No they do not. In FL we had central air . Some people have a box ac

Do the jot brand pencils from Dollar Tree write and sharpen well? I saw our DT had a lot of school supplies out today. I read reviews on the jot pencils, and people were saying they didn't write and sharpen well.
We haven’t had issues. We have an electric sharpener I don’t think I ever actually tried a hand one. But no issues with the electric one. Now those smile pencils I do not recommend I’ve had 2 break in half as I sharpened.
