The first time I saw him was at The Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, OK. It wasn’t air conditioned and was hotter than hades. It was so hot! I was so happy to see him, but disappointed in the venue. Next time I required AC!
This song speaks volumes in 2024. With everything happening in the world today, TR’s simply poetic lyrics reign true to the basic need and want we all have in life. This is one of my favorite songs…I was a little girl when England Dan and John Ford Coley’s rendition came on the radio. As I got older, I discovered Todd Rundgren wrote and also performed this great song. Both are beautiful, but TR’s passion is magical!
I love this man! I saw his Utopia tour when I was in college in Atlanta. My first “trip” and it was in the Fabulous Fox Theatre with an amazing light show! Then I saw him with Daryl Hall last year. He is still amazing!
