well bro straps aint no magic once your deadlift progress to heavier weights your grip becomes a limiting factor nobody in any powerlifting meet pulls over hand grip no straps once ur grip fails u either strap up or switch to mixed grip or hook grip which will prevent the bar from rolling out of your hands your grip shouldn't be a limiting factor in deadlifts so theres absloutely 0 reasons to not strap or switch grip
I pull conventional and I’m 6’3 I literally have to lift the bar twice as high as the last guy to lock it out. Sumo is one thing but the people who almost crush their toes with the weight because they’re doing a split is ridiculous
