    • @uome20bukz
      @uome20bukz Před rokem +13

      @@ZAKU-GDArnold didn’t “make it up.”
      John Wayne did that with his winchester in Stagecoach in 1939 and then again in True Grit, and Chuck Connors did it in the Rifleman. And they did modify the shotgun in T2 by putting a larger lever on it so it could spin around his hand, and removing the trigger guard so it wouldn’t get in the way of his index finger while spinning. They had two shotguns. One with the standard lever for the bar and mall scenes, and the customized one for the motorcycle scene so he can spin it. Both shotguns were Winchester Model 1887s.
      But John Wayne was the first to ever spin a lever action rifle that way, which is what led to The Rifleman using the idea, which led to T2 using the idea.

The musical score really brought the scenes to life as well. About 20 minutes in the the movie drivein security moved in on us because I guess a female going here alone isn't normal and asked to see our tickets. I didn't have a ticket because I new jacked them with my stupidity, plus they saw my camera. We got in the car and GTFO ASAP.

    Love this interview. I was not old enogh to see it in the theatre, so I remember beeing on my bike outside the theatre and looking at the poster. And seeing the Guns N' Roses video You Could Be Mine on MTV and on my VHS tape I recorded it on from MTV.
    And I called the video store like 300 times to ask when it would come out on VHS. And one day it did. I nagged my mother for days, to get her to rent it, so we could see it. And, that day was one of the best days of my life. Still is! What an epic movie!! I agree with the other people here. Marvel and that shait, got nothing on T2 :)

    Damn I really miss this era. Take me back. I miss going to Blockbuster Video and picking out movies to watch...interacting with other people. Reading the newspaper and magazines...Actually having to take a chance and buy a cd when seeing new music you liked on MTV AT 2AM. Politics weren't dividing the nation...the economy was good. Pre 9/11. It all seems like fun and games looking back now.

      Same here. I miss Friday nights when me and my wife would get off work. Then drive around from video store to video store looking for stuff to watch after we got fast food dinner. We had Blockbuster, Hollywood video and mom and pop stores all over the place. Even a place to drive 30 miles downtown Phoenix to rent rare hard to find horror movies.
      Now everything everything in instant and generic 90 minutes of 'something to watch'. The directors for Netflix stuff don't give a fuck how much their movie makes or if its any good. They only care if it meets min standards for them to get their next streaming gig. Mediocrity.
