- On one of the first days of the 2017 season, I made it out to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for my 3rd ever visit to the wonderful Christmas Town event. It was a very rainy Monday which led to almost nonexistent crowds- the rides did remain open, but unfortunately many of the outdoor shows were cancelled for weather. But that didn't stop us from having an overall great time!

I've never been to christmas town hoping too one year.
Hi Taylor, I've actually been to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and love it. I when during July 2012. My favorite roller coaster is Griffon. My home park actually has a Christmas event; Hersheypark Christmas Candylane. Have you thought about going? I say it's pretty good. For them, it's all about the lights and Christmas themed animated/lighted figures. But they use other Christmas decorations. I think you will love it. Now, as of January 7, this isn't carved it stone yet but, this Summer I am planning a trip to Carowinds and your home park Kings Dominion; and perhaps a day at Busch Gardens? But let's just say, I have some personal stuff to get sorted out first. At 1:37 was Mach Tower broken, or it's transformed into a observation tower for their Christmas event. Sorry about this long paragraph, hope you had a nice New Years and I am looking forward to your 2017 park visits and coaster paradies and more.
I always forget that Busch gardens has a dive coaster
yeah Cuz its very forgettable...I actually forgot the name.... I had to think really hard for 3mins and do my a.b.c s of names to remember Griffin....I knew it was a bird or something I kept thinking it was a -V- named something tho haha. but yeah point exactly its nothing great or special like most their rides and coasters .....drop tower sucks....drop zone at kd kills it...new wood coaster is lame....kds rmc remake of hurler is way better....the newish launch coaster is a clone and isn't special. not the same but volcano at kd is better....loch ness monster is old and not that great of a coaster anymore but I guess its better than the anaconda at kd.....now the good.... Alpengeist is a great b&m invert one of the best I've ridden closest thing kd has to that is dominator and alpengeist wins that hands down. and Apollo's Chariot is a good ride for air time. its just not very impressive anymore after all the years and new coasters built. its not very tall 200 something and no inversions but its smooth I like i-305 at kd better tho I know their very different but its the closest thing I can compare to...verbolten is kinda cool I guess the elevator drop is different...... and escape from dark castle is a cool ride kd doesn't have anything like that. but kd has a lot more coasters and good ones at that. the i305 is amazing and intense... volcano is great. RMC remake is gonna be amazing...flight of fear is cool...dominator is a good ride... rebel yell is a classic woodie BG doesn't have. drop zone is a great drop tower....backlot stunt coaster is a great and fun family launch coaster. and Scooby doo coaster is a good kid woodie. but Anaconda sucks hands down the grizzly is pretty rough needs RMC too...but like i said kd is better rides and free water park BG charges $60 more for water country.
+brandon Baker but BG has better views and food. and beer....I miss the Budweiser tours smh....BG needs a giga or some big investment not just half ass it like they have lately ...drop tower cheap.....launch coaster cheap....woodie cheap....get what I mean...last big investment was verbolten. they need a 20million + roller coaster.
Yeah idk. Kings dominion has more rides. And I LOVE dominator volcano and flight of fear. The intimidatior never impressed me. And kings dominion has *_no_* dark rides or consistent themeing of any kind. There’s no point in having a drop tower when there’s nothing to see. All the rides at KD seem to be in parking lots or grassy areas obviously bulldozed for the ride. Meanwhile almost all BGs coasters work with the landscape to a degree so you’re by the water in the woods etc. plus the food alone is a reason to visit BG.
This hasn't aged well with the 2 new rides coming in 2020 and 2022

If you ever go to SeaWorld Orlando and Buch Gardens Tampa. You should do a theme park battle against all the parks that SeaWorld owns.

Coaster FanBoy It's not cheap, so I'm not surprised. If you want it so bad, I'd suggest paying for it yourself. It's a very good editor for people who take this kind of thing seriously. If you aren't serious about it, then I'd suggest a cheaper editor before making such a big investment.
