Since you were adding hyfax material anyway did you consider just eliminating the wood entirely. You would never have to worry about wood in the future. Love those old Polaris snowmobiles. My first sled was a 1968 Polaris Mustang when I was 13 years old. Love the channel!
It definitely crossed my mind but the uhmw is only 1/4in thick. I needed something a little thicker for it to screw onto so I have proper track tension if that makes scence lol thanks for watching!
that machine makes me fell really old hard to beleive its same age as me. thats quite a nice find. is that a kohler 8 or 10 hp. any old machines break down put a hook on them and give them a tow!
