Living Books: Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss is the second Dr. Seuss interactive Living Books video game released on July 26, 1996. It is based on the 1960 book of the same name. All game rights go to Broderbund Software and the Story rights go to Dr. Seuss Enterprises Limited.
My favorite Dr. Seuss book and one of my favorite Living Books games. This certainly brings back memories.
Colorful foods are Brown strawberries in a dish, Sundaes made with Gray Ice Cream and Gray Bananas, Bright Red Pickles from a jar, Peanut Butter in Blue spread on Blue Bread, some Black Carrots with a bowl of nice Black Rice, Yellow Lamb Chops served with Yellow Mint Sauce, Orange Cherry Pie, Green Eggs and Ham, Hamburgers in White, Pink Fried Chicken with Pink Peas, Purple Pancakes, Turquoise Pizza Pie, Golden Lobsters on a plate, Hot Dogs striped in Red and Blue, Marshmallows in Polka Dots, Rainbow-colored Bagels, and Waffles Checked in White and Black.
That reminds me of a SpongeBob SquarePants episode, Patty Hype.

Love how it starts with the old Living Books theme, then the plate slams it down. Is this one of the last ones Living Books did? It feels like they took more risks and it was more fun as a result.
I think one of the last ones was D.W., the Picky Eater or Arthur's Computer Adventure. Idk.

Living Books CD ROMs are better than ANY of the copycats even are all these years! It breaks my heart that they were brought out in a hostile takeover and all their brilliant creativity came to crashing halt. You can buy some of the Living Books that are now apps under the name Wanderful.
