This game made me wish I could live in thier hometown because I've always adored rural areas over suburbian/city life.
When I was in summer camp and we were playing a computer game, this was the very first Living Books game I've played as a kid. I really enjoyed the story and playing along in the games. Living Books became one of my most favorite computer game company. I wanted to play the Green Eggs and Ham game at a library, but the people said the computers were meant for kids and I was in my teen age at that time. If only the Living Books Green Eggs and Ham game was on the Iphones along with the others. If only I was many years younger.

This is notable in being the first Living Books title not based off an existing book. Well, it's based off an ancient fable by Aesop, but the Living Books crew came up with their own take on the fable.
There's that cliched "Premiere Edition" kids cheering sound effect at 19:24 and 26:33!
(19:50) It appears that it was standard in the early Living Books titles for a random background character to juggle to that Sound Ideas "circus" stock music track.
They eventually did The Berenstain Bears.

On page 2 if you click somewhere on the tree between the squirrel the mouse and the weasel (I know it’s somewhere around there), the squirrel will play her saxophone normally but will fall backwards into the tree hole she’s standing in.

@@DangerousBoy No problem. This was the first full version Living Books that my brother and sisters and I ever played in the 90s, and I can’t believe I still remember a lot about this.
The skip, spring and Lope is my favorite part as a kid.
I just found some hidden surprises that you missed. If you click on the guitar that the blue lizard on page 2 has, he will play it like a rock star and dance as well. If you click on the fisherman's line at page 3, a huge green fish will appear from the water and scare the fisherman. And if you click on the leaves on the top of the screen at page 10, a young jungle boy will swing by vines. If you click the left side, he will swing to the right and if you click the right side or middle, he will swing through the window of the house and crash.
