I mean, track record wise, Shane isn't a very good businessman. While he was away, it was basically a litany of various business fumbles until he came back.

Matches with Io, Kairi, Bianca, Rhea, Sasha, Becky, & Toni during the time would’ve been dope too.
For your next booking I think it would be pretty cool to see you book something super random but current, like making Angel Garza into a main eventer or something.

I feel the exact opposite, I think it'd be unbearably bad. Would rather see Cody come back and do something like create a new Evolution faction paying homage to HHH to try and get his attention where he could put over some young talent, would give him a team to go into War Games with rather than randomly pairing him with people, and would tie him to Rick Flair still as well as could set up the easy eventual Randy Orton feud that would be bound to happen as he could try to destroy the creation that once birthed his career.
I thought Adam was going to head toward a Birthright vs Bloodline storyline. Would be interesting for a storyline. They can add in Orton to the Birthright and maybe Bron Breakker? I don't know who Charlotte could face from The Bloodline though, since Nia is gone, and I don't think they'll turn Naomi heel. . . . . oh wait this would all be heel vs heel.... bah, I just thought it would be a cool story though!
I love the idea of aligning Charlotte and Cody as the Birth Right. I wonder if they could fill out the pairing to make it a group. It would be great to see another faction with a female contender like DX was with Chyna. Who would you add?? Someone also posed an interesting idea of a reformed modern day Evolution faction with Randy Orton (as the Ric Flair) Cody (as the leader like HHH) and two other stars, the pitches were Mad Cap Moss and Grayson from NXT. Idk, nothing against Moss but i don't think he could easily transition from half decent worker with stupid gimmick to the next Orton/Batista. I think it'd work better to have Austin Theory and Ridge Holland in that position. We've already seen Theory do work, Holland hasn't had a chance to show his stuff yet but he's got the sheamus level size and power to be a heavy like Batista, throw in Orton as the veteran and someone like Cody as the experienced leader, yeah i'd buy that.

Cody is a controversial figure now but it is imo undisputable that he is one of the most important wrestlers of the past 10 years he has had an impact that's literally changed the buisness which back in 2010 2014 seemed impossible.
And... He ruined all of it with terrible creative choices that sunk him so fast and so low that he reverted back to the establishment he vowed to be better than. It's like an epic poem.
"He smashed a symbol a HHH with a symbol of HHH." And then, at Wrestlemania, he is gonna smash HHH in the head with a cymbal of HHH. (This works if you imagine HHH has a live band entrance and the cymbals have his logo on them.)
Vince, the guy who had the interview on Raw in 1997 where he claimed he could beat up Bret Hart in a fair fight, and yet still thought he was being a babyface, will surely see great things in Cody, the guy who designed his own *babyface* entrance music so that it started with a sample of his own voice complaining about being underapreciated whilst *simultaneously* calling himself royalty!

I’d like it to focus more on the title since that was a real life thing for Cody. Cody comes out, says “I wanted the title my dad held. Won it. I wanted to be the face of a company and run it like my dad did. Did that. Now I’m back to finally claim the title they never let him have.” Everything else about the booking is awesome. 10/10 again Adam. All hail the king.
Fun fact: my mums cousin has wrestled Cody Rhodes in SWE. It was for the Next Gen championship a few years ago and the match was actually pretty awesome (though maybe I’m biased). For anyone interested look up LJT vs Cody Rhodes SWE on CZcams.
I like the angle of him coming back for his father's legacy. Was expecting Orton since they were in Legacy together. Also feel you could have delved in Cody vs AJ more, both being the faces of WWE's rival promotions and both being ex-Bullet Club leaders. Throw Finn in there and you have a great triple threat. AJ (face or heel) saying he saw what Cody did in Japan, then Finn interrupting saying he started it all.
I think this whole Cody to WWE thing is a massive work. Cody knew what he was doing when he was getting booed, it's all a long term storyline starting from the beginning of AEW, and when he returns to AEW he will be the biggest heel, going back on his promise to not challenge for the AEW Championship, beating Hangman for it. Then holding it for a year before dropping it to Darby Allin or Sammy Guevara.
I´m also one of those guys who think it´s a massive work. When Tony announced he bought ROH, he also said it´s not Shane, which confirms that they are listening, hear what we say. they knew when they´d announce he is leaving AEW people would fantasy book a wwe return , doing something with Hunter or ROH. Bringing him back after spreading rumors is the perfect work to make him the biggest heel in AEW history!
I would love to know how you would book The Dark Order right now. Ever since Brodie passed they have kind of struggled and even with their connection to Hangman they just seem to be there to lose.
the hidden beauty of the Dark Order (IMO) is that Hangman’s success is a win for the group…considering they basically started off as a rehabilitative organization for the lost/losers. Given the distance they’ve put between Hangman & D.O., they can turn on him at any given time and it will feel 100% justified. If they’re waiting on a particular star, then them lying dormant can pay off beautifully.

I usually love these videos. I ‘only’ like this one. I don’t think there is a need to change the PPV schedule around to force in call backs to certain moments/events. Your booking is strong enough without those changes. It also doesn’t make sense to have Cody fight for everything his father created, win, and then use those things to make money for the company that ‘stole’ them. It’s still great booking from you though.

This has been an unexpected nostalgia trip. But its done well, its more than that it is a real story. The Birth Right is what The Legacy should have been. Man Adam is a genius.
How would Adam book: Cody returning to ROH and or AEW now XD Gotta love the wrestling news cycle and how quick things change in a few weeks. Also not really a fan of this storyline, loved the idea of the PPV's being changed to the Rhodes family legacies for the span of his run in the year of his return, his return though would be bookended against 2 fights against Vince's kids and not even in the biggest of matches even though WWE would treat them as so and fans would act like they were. Would be a huge letdown as a fan for those to be what he returned for though to me at least.
Would love to see Adam's version of the Tribal Chief/Head of the Table Storyline. Something where instead of simply 'acknowledge me', Roman totally throws family off the window and perhaps create a new Revolution by means of "retribution". Well, I know Adam can pull this off. Jam that Jam!

Now I’m back to finally claim the title they never let him have.” Everything else about the booking is awesome. 10/10 again Adam. All hail the king.

Fun fact: my mums cousin has wrestled Cody Rhodes in SWE. It was for the Next Gen championship a few years ago and the match was actually pretty awesome (though maybe I’m biased). For anyone interested look up LJT vs Cody Rhodes SWE on CZcams.
I like the angle of him coming back for his father's legacy. Was expecting Orton since they were in Legacy together.
Also feel you could have delved in Cody vs AJ more, both being the faces of WWE's rival promotions and both being ex-Bullet Club leaders. Throw Finn in there and you have a great triple threat. AJ (face or heel) saying he saw what Cody did in Japan, then Finn interrupting saying he started it all.
This booking would be dope sadly WWE wont allow that.

I think this whole Cody to WWE thing is a massive work. Cody knew what he was doing when he was getting booed, it's all a long term storyline starting from the beginning of AEW, and when he returns to AEW he will be the biggest heel, going back on his promise to not challenge for the AEW Championship, beating Hangman for it. Then holding it for a year before dropping it to Darby Allin or Sammy Guevara.
I´m also one of those guys who think it´s a massive work.
When Tony announced he bought ROH, he also said it´s not Shane, which confirms that they are listening, hear what we say. they knew when they´d announce he is leaving AEW people would fantasy book a wwe return , doing something with Hunter or ROH. Bringing him back after spreading rumors is the perfect work to make him the biggest heel in AEW history!

I would love to know how you would book The Dark Order right now. Ever since Brodie passed they have kind of struggled and even with their connection to Hangman they just seem to be there to lose.
the hidden beauty of the Dark Order (IMO) is that Hangman’s success is a win for the group…considering they basically started off as a rehabilitative organization for the lost/losers. Given the distance they’ve put between Hangman & D.O., they can turn on him at any given time and it will feel 100% justified. If they’re waiting on a particular star, then them lying dormant can pay off beautifully.

I usually love these videos. I ‘only’ like this one. I don’t think there is a need to change the PPV schedule around to force in call backs to certain moments/events. Your booking is strong enough without those changes. It also doesn’t make sense to have Cody fight for everything his father created, win, and then use those things to make money for the company that ‘stole’ them. It’s still great booking from you though.

Also not really a fan of this storyline, loved the idea of the PPV's being changed to the Rhodes family legacies for the span of his run in the year of his return, his return though would be bookended against 2 fights against Vince's kids and not even in the biggest of matches even though WWE would treat them as so and fans would act like they were. Would be a huge letdown as a fan for those to be what he returned for though to me at least.
Would love to see Adam's version of the Tribal Chief/Head of the Table Storyline. Something where instead of simply 'acknowledge me', Roman totally throws family off the window and perhaps create a new Revolution by means of "retribution". Well, I know Adam can pull this off. Jam that Jam!
