  • Snarling Badger has launched their second game, Space Station Zero! Snarling Badger is a collaboration between Vince Venturella and Uncle Atom from Tabletop Minions.
You can find the pdf and print-on-demand versions here: www.wargamevault.com/m/produc...
The game focuses on a crew lost in deep space exploring a mysterious space station, and features a mix of environmental challenges.
Sorry that the audio isn't quite up to my usual standard. That mic clipped to my shirt came unplugged.

Does this have some kind of story that's more than just fighting/survival?
How about making decisions, some small RPG-ish stuff?

How do you feel it will stack up against Five Parsecs from Home?

Good question. I feel like they are trying to do different things in a lot of ways. Five Parsecs to me is all about building a coherent narrative around the procedurally generated missions, whereas SSZ really does feel more like an elaborate Choose Your Own Adventure with a certain number of fixed outcomes.

Good first impressions video. Tbh, I'm still salty about supporting their first game Reign in Hell when it first came out and found the book full of errors and even an entire table missing. Yes, I was sent an updated PDF later on with the corrections in it, but was expected to buy a second copy of the physical rules if I wanted that - or I could glue the new pages over the old ones in my book. That's not quality service imho - especially as when that's happened b4 the supplier has sent me a corrected physical copy of the book. As a result I'm going to pass on this Stargrave/Space Hulk rip-off.

I can understand that. There is something to be said for potentially holding off on buying the print on demand. One can hope they've gotten better at proofreading the hard copy proof. Like I said, most of my actual play will probably involve a tablet and the pdf, but what you describe is definitely frustrating.

Kill team tac ops cards, anyone? They have a department to deal with that and bazillion of dollars to develop games, let alone something as simple as proofreading. It's two dudes and their first game. Imma let it slide.

@@joshgrillo2482 - Then let it slide. That's fine. I'm simply going to wait until the book has been out a while before deciding if I'm going to buy it. I don't see why that's an issue for you..!?!
