Ah yes, the archetype that got beaten by a bunch of crappy random cards.
On a slightly more serious note, imagine fighting Zombies with Iron Chain. That's like handing your opponents a loaded gun.

Yeah, but the Deck also seems to have an Identity issue with its monsters as Iron Chain Blaster has you sending your own Iron Chains to cause burn damage.
If you ask me, I think decks like this need to Iron out their Win-conditions. The game has been powercrept significantly since this time.
It can and should play to Milling and Burn Strats! The problem lies in What Kind of Milling power should they rely on! Either Self-Mill or Milling the Opponents’ cards! That is the question.
What I can certainly see from this though, is that all the Cards, except for the Tuner and Iron Chain Repairman, can and should be replaced with a more improved and faster set of cards to easily get your opponent sweating.

Always sad when an archetype got no love at all for so many years.

It's not a bad archetype it just one of those that need support because they didn't have one

They will sadly probably never make more support for iron chains :(

Honestly, Iron Chains aren’t that bad. I know Since Iron Chain Dragon is incredibly Generic and easy to summon, in the early Synchro era, this thing was a powerful tool to use until The First Ice Barrier Dragon came out and completely usurped this dragon. Not hard to see why.
What’s very interesting as well is that this Both Burn and Mill is possible in this deck now since power creep has become a thing! The only problem is balancing out the Win-Conditions.
Burning and Milling are both viable Strategies, but from what we can see, Iron Chain Blaster doesn’t have enough effects on its own, and nor are their enough Iron Chain cards to really abuse both Methods. The deck should have cards that allow for field advantage and burn effects while on field.
As for milling, it comes down to sticking with Either Milling your Opponent’s Cards, or Milling Your own! Konami needs to have Iron Chain stick to One of these Milling Strats, otherwise prepare for a Mess of a deck that can hardly get its own effects to work.

I believe it is good to have an Iron Chain that has an effect to both mill and burn. And since they will most likely not to attack, I believe a spell/trap that mill/burn their opponent based on the Iron Chain's ATK/DEF (like "Send the top card of your opponent's deck to the GY for every 100 Atk of 1 of your Iron Chain Monsters.)
