Who still watching this in 2017?
Time flies :')
Edit 2019
Edit 2021
Edit 2023!!
I was there, this shit was priceless.. I almost hit the floor laughing.. haha.. Blake was hella fun to play with.. that man has a mouth on him, makes every game fun.
me
@@nut_bust3r This was a dope video tho lol
Yessir
Every year or so, I always come back an watch this certified hood classic.
Who's watching this in 2023? Legendary Match!
Meeeeee
Meeeee
i just discovered this today
i put my city on my back *PULLS YUGIOH DECK OUT* LOLOLOLOLOOLOLOL I CANT
Steven Age 😂😂😂 Thanks for the laugh
I'm glad to see people are handling their problems the mature way...with a children's card game!
The fact he took out gate way lol and still won is crazy lol
Personally one of if not my favorite match of all time. Really puts the format in perspective from that point
I randomly thought about this match. It's been 12 years! How time flies. Legendary battle
This is a core piece of Yu-Gi-Oh history. This match shall be referred to for generations in the future
this is the closest we're ever gonna get to the anime without bringing in the voice actors or making the cards come to life :P
the video started off with a lot of heat, then we see a shake of hands at the end. Good sportsmanship
i always come back and watch this video its legendary
This is still the most legendary yugioh match of all time
i wish that more disputes or misunderstandings were settled in a duel, it adds a challenge and gives a real sense of victory in life and in the game.
Yeah imagine gang wars being used with duels.
"Bitch I'll slap you! Duel me! "
we NEED Pro Winston back ASAP
This feels like another Yu Gi Oh episode, But in 3d. :) Think about it. Blake is Yugi Motto and Nizar is Marik or Dark Bakura. It might not be the same dialog, but Blake And Yugi is fighting for the same thing, there friends. :)
This still one of the greatest Yugioh videos of all time.
Still watching in 2019!!
the audience MADE this duel xD
Props to them both. Settled it without fighting and shook hands when it was done.
Back when somebody could win win 1 monster and a shit ton of traps
Good days
What??? guy talking crap draws seven cards in his first turn? wow.
Chill out CZcams, mistake
Blake is a good guy, in the beginning he said he doesn't play for himself. Even though it might sound a bit nerdy to settle this over a yugioh duel, I think it was better this way than a fist fight.
Someone who sticks up for his/her friends....that is a friend that will stand by you forever, cherish them.
Had to watch this. Been so long since this happened. It was hilarious at the time. Nizar was an elitist no lie. Great player though no taking that away from the man. Love the fact he’s flexing with the trophy lol
Someone tell the 🐐 six sams getting support
If Blackship of Corn was out then Blake would've won game two easy.
Brings back so many memories Solving Everything with Dueling
best fucking match in all of eternal's infinity
i had to see this after that docu-video
mad respect for these guys, we need more like them
"Shit Martin Luther King had a dream too." Haha Jarel. That made my day.
This to me is better then modern yugioh duels in 2022
I've watched this at least once a year since it wad uploaded. Just the right amount of all drama and steaks.
Sean Pittman VS Hani
Never seen this before but you can tell they watch the anime😂 after trash talking you settle the differences with a card game👌🏼
I have no idea who Nizar is but he is better. Opening up with every trap card in your deck doesn't make you good. Being able to play around your opponents plays makes you good. Also knowing how to apply strategy to your gameplay.
The Most Random Channel nizar missplayed tho. Instead of making Lagia he attacked into a mirror force.
@@Waffleswcheese still would have gotten judgmented then...
props for settling a dispute with hitting Life Points as opposed to hitting faces
Who’s still watching this in 2018????
Still one of my favourite matches to watch :)
Still here in 2020! I like the current format but I miss the formats with these kind of interactions with classic staples, and variety of cards being a fair ratio of monsters, spells, traps, synchros, xyzs, fusions if you were playing hero.
one of the best yugioh videos
2016 anyone?!?
Aww hell yeah
No I'm in 2018
This is the beef of beef. 2024 and this was the match that didn't need to happen.
epic duel, nuff said! kudos to the samurai guy! amazing demonstration even without gateway. E_P_I_C_! ! !
0:53 "i dont need no gateway to beat yo ass nigga" LMFAO
I don't get why taking out gateway Is a BIG deal IMO if u draw it u win but at the time it was a one of out of the 42 card deck he played. Most of time Sam players don't draw it anyway. That's why when that guy said he took out gateway and nizar said so what nizar just didn't wanted to get sacked with it but we all knew he prob wouldn't draw it. Same if royal oppression came to 1 it wouldn't be a Sam format not even close..
+Brandon Rouach then why should people play solemn warning, raigeki, vanity's empitiness, torrential, etc. why do you think people play those cards even though its limited to one? by your logic, you're saying all cards that are at 1 shouldn't be played because the "chances" of drawing it is slim.
people play raigeki, warning, etc because its a powerful card despite it being at one. sure the chances of drawing into gates might be slim but at least when you draw into it you can go ham. that is sufficient enough reason for players to play such cards even if they are playing a 42 card deck.
plus you have to take into consideration that six sams generate cards at a fast pace with asceticism, united, upstart, duality, etc. it wont be long until they can draw into it.
plus, the only reason he took it out is because nazar called him out on him. he said that six sams are nothing without gate so blake agreed to take out gates to beat him.
Pride beats arrogance. Nice duel man, gotta love those six sams.
who was being arrogant in the first place ?
blake "the lotus" mcCrary!!!
what ever happened to nazar
Yami Yugi banished him to the shadow realm
grown men fighting over yugioh -__-
In it's sense it's a sport... And a competitive hobby like chess ...
Atleast they aint killing eachother.
And say that to the anime.
+MrGladBEASTftw so assuming you play video games or do any hobbies thy should be treated the same way a yu gi oh its a game a grown man can play it am should not get shit for it
MrGladBEASTftw i thought they were fighting because the the yugioh pro disrespected another player by acting all high and mighty with an ego that can rival the most richest man.
yo this video is fire, that guy is a hero
clearly nizar is the better player
Your a fucking idiot
DoMaIn_MoNaRcHs 2016 you're*
I LOVE how dead that dark hole was in the samurai player's hand.
I love the game but seriously. They are acting like children.
They're not acting like children. They are handling their dispute like an adult. They found a non violent way to settle their dispute and thats through this game
Well...lucky for you this IS a childrens card game
at least they handled their dispute over a card game instead of fist fighting or worst
i self proclaim pro winston to be a pro for filming this duel
And because Winston has to be an Instagator he had to act like it was all about him telling them to stop
He wasn't siding before game 1. He was taking Gateway out because he was told to take it out.
The reason he lost out to Force was because Granmaster couldn't get over the Zenmaines. Zenmaines than popped the Magatama. However if Catastor was out Catastor forces Zenmaines to remove both it's materials due to Catastor effect. There for meaning that Shi-En and Grandmaster would swing for game the turn before mirror force was activated.
blake opened so good both games its ridiculous, nobody cant deny that.. i would like to see anyone beat those opening turns
haha for a second there i thought the other guy was playing on a mcdonalds napkin. lol
Gateway band lotus be like " I dont give a fuck!!!"
Nizar asking if Blake is gonna cheat…. 😂😂😂 oh the hypocrisy.
Sorry for my english. But you're a good example for the people who can't say any good comeback and starts to insult the other because of his grammar.
I can understand Texas' annoyance with Nizar. His tone comes off as pretentious and bothered. This can translate to other players as "better than you," or "you're not good enough." Good for Blake for holding it down for his state.
its kinda hard to lose when u open up with everything that negates and destroys
God damn that’s what I’m talking about!
Very nice video. Shows who has more pride than just involving physical violence. Great job.
I find it funny that everyone was hyping Blake up when i never even heard of him prior to this.
That'd be a good point if it wasn't on camera, making it a perfectly repairable gamestate.
This is for honor XD Man theguys sound like they think they are on the show hahaha
I loved how Nizar scooped fucking funny as hell
These kind of battles are awesome, I wanna see rematch
this time this is still the hardest duel of all time
well not many people run mirror force and nizar probably expected that this was no exception with blake
No when Blake was using his monsters to attack Nizar use all of his xyz materials on Utopia which means if Utopia has no xyz materials then its destroyed then it was Nizar's turn then Summon Utopia Ray
no matter how depressing my day might be, this just makes me happy to watch. With all due respect.
Glad they are solving their differences with yugioh rather than violence.
Guys, it's Sams vs Rabbit. Why are we surprised one opened broke?
I agree, but I am arguing that the scale of "hard" decisions, along with the frequency that those hard decisions arise, belong to the game of Magic.
True, true, but it'd suck to find a table to play on,so we need duel disks for that.
BRO LISTEN, even I FUCKING CLAPPED WHEN THE GAME WAS OVER. listen, MUCH respects from Toronto.
Blake opening with the nuts in both of his wins vs Nizar playing out of beast and shi en to nab his wins proves who the better player is clearly.
Warning on the Gorz was D E L I C I O U S
after the begining i was kinda expecting them to be like, MY WARRIOR ATTACKS YOUR BUNNY AND DESTROYS IT. YOUR WARRIOR ATTACKS MY BUNNY? COOL BRO, LIKE I GAVE A FUCK. but everything was silent
...Look at the date this came out..
...It was last April..
Tour Guide was still at 3 at the time
You are very correct. There are ways to counter this sort of play though. If i notice my player is what I call a Solemn Winner (winning because solemns first two turns and atks for game) then I like to side in some dark bribes and some feindish chains to make sure I can counter. Its all about how well you can counter.
This was the best match of the format.
I think I'm the only one who likes Nizar. He played out of a very tough game two. He's without a doubt a great player, and from my experiences of speaking with him at a regional he's a pretty decent guy. All the hate is just coming from people who love underdogs. But who doesn't love an underdog?
what would you rather have it be? A non-violent card game or a fist fight
I mean, from Blake's own interview, I'm getting the impression that Nizar doesn't know these people, and they're giving him a hard time for no reason, when he just doesn't wnat to play with them. Observe Nizar's responses in this video. He doesn't talk shit, he doesn't act cocky. When Blake starts talking down to him, all he said was "I said no", then got cut off by Jarel before he could even explain himself.
i die at nizars face at 0:35 just knew he was about to get stomped
I heard he was cocky, but meh. Was chill as hell that he gave him the handshake regardless after winning. That shows good sportsmanship. And at least it was a resolved over a game, not by actual fighting. Which is also good imo.
Yeah, we also saw Maxx C hit the grave a bit before that.
lol that nizar dude is suspended by konami..shows that stacking eventually will catch up with you
i understand many people seem to "not like nizar" how ever there both pro duelists. i have nothing but high respect for both these guys. and i think the hate should stop.
see? real life disputes get settled with a childrens card game to show dominance. this goes to show that all our problems can be solved with card games
i love everything about this.
This was a game that happened after the YCS ended.
Harder to keep track of what cards they have. Your opponent's going to be trying to read your hand based on how you play. Shuffling the cards makes it harder for him to know which card is which. Especially if you're setting cards, you don't want to make it obvious that you had no traps before and just drew one.
I hope one day all conflicts, small or big, can be settled with a card game.
