@@carmex02user2002 "I have to pass the indian bravery test" - "what's that?" - "they chop off both your hands and if you don't make a sound you pass" 😂
If you're not grinning like an idiot upon seeing this (and hearing the classic Riggs theme) then you need to watch more movies. This is one of my favorite scenes of all time because you see the chemistry is right there.
I saw this in the theatre and man what a shining moment this is!!!Everyone was laughing and excited! Great movie!!! And seriously no one saw the “I’m getting too old for this shit”line coming either!the laugher was insane for that moment!
Well, Richard Donner was the director of both Lethal Weapon (all the movies) and Maverick :) And there were already 3 of the Lethal Weapons movies released before Maverick The cameo is right on spot
Seeing how Corey Feldmen was in his gang, I so wish Richard had gotten all the kid actors from The Goonies to be members of Danny's gang, as it was another Richard Donner directed film.
Seeing Corey Feldmen in Danny's gang, am I the only one wishing that all the members of his gang were shown to be all the kid actors from The Goonies? Another movie directed by Richard Donner. Would have made this scene gold.
I like to think that Maverick is one of Trish's novels, and that she based Bret on the best parts of Martin, how she imagined he was before Vicky was killed. When she got this scene, she needed a bank robber, so slipped in a more roguish version of Roger and gave them a brief fourth wall break as her own personal in-joke. Then she had the bank robber say Roger's favourite refrain, "I'm getting too old for this shit."
Ha ha, I love the mental squint of Danny's eye, as if he suddenly has an anxiety return he never knew he had from a character he does not know he is affiliated to.
LOL! I loved this when I watched the movie today for the 1st time. I can't help but imagine the audience back in the day, going like "wow no way!" During this scene
Riggs: Rog I had the strangest dream last night, I dreamt I was in a western and was a gambler and was in a bank Rog: huh, I had a dream last night I was a bank robber and was robbing a bank.
Ever wonder... Do these two guys have the same dream every night that theyre cops in the future?...OR...Are riggs and rodger just both having the same dream one night that they live in the old west?
You gotta be a die hard lethal weapon fan to appreciate this moment 😎
Damn right 😂👍
@@desmondday7837 it's such a cool little easter egg 😂 honestly this entire movie is great, never gets old
"You told me you were broke!"
"I am now he's got it!"

As soon as both of them stand closer, Mel turned into Riggs lol.

It’s brilliant isn’t it! 😁😁😁
Grinning ear to ear here
Yep! Haha. God I can't wait for lethal weapon 5... so pumped! I think we've all been riding the nostalgia train since covid 😂
Soul brothers. Literally. Reincarnating as LA police officers a hundred years later.
'' I'm too old for this shit '' ha ha , a legend scene!
When the Lethal Weapon music kicks in!! LOL!!
0:43 it’s just the look they exchange “Do I know you? Idk what it is but I feel like I know you from another life” 😂
They're about to meet in another life, and probably met prior to this one xD
Donde te he visto?? Nos conocemos?? Parece decirle jajajaja
Rog what are you doing?
Shut up Riggs I'm putting my kids through college.
Riggs: I’ll help if you give me a gun
Hmm... very funny.

Man I can't wait for lethal weapon 5 😎
And the string music from Lethal Weapon
Loved that he said I’m getting to old for this shit in the end. That is the first thing he say when they meet for the first time in Lethal Weapon too
0:39 5 seconds of pure masterpiece

I love everything about this! It would be awesome if they somehow wrote that into Lethal Weapon 5!
The ultimate Meta moment.

lol Danny gloved saying I’m getting too old at the end lol icing on the cake lol
Perhaps ancestors to the Lethal Weapon characters but the nod to LW was absolutely fantastic.
RIP RICHARD DONNER. TOO BAD WE WONT GET TO SEE LETHAL FINALE (LETHAL WEAPON 5)
the gang already made Lethal Weapon 5, 6, and 7
Mel gibson is making the 5 in tribute to donner
@@ryanachernin I was about to say Lethal Weapon 5 came out awhile ago!

Seeing this actually made me happy. I even laughed a few seconds later when that Bandit said something quite familiar.
So this is how he made money, it had nothing to do with Trish writing novels...
He's boinking the bank.
When Riggs meets Murtaugh 😆😁
0:59 - "I'm younger than you 😂😂😂"
Even the music when they stare at eachother is from lethal weapon 🤣🤣
BEST SCENE!! ❤
Bloopers moment
Mel: "ROG"?
Danny: Stuttering ("Uh Ri Ri RIGGS?"
Best cameo ever?
Best cameo ever.
I loved this part at the movie theater
I like how they made the white hair Captain one of the card dealers in the movie too.
I'm just watching LETHAL WEAPON 2 🙌✨️👌😎
I should probably watch a Lethal Weapon movie to understand this joke.
The Lethal weapon music😂😂😂😂
Um classico reencontro do filme maquina mortifera ... com.a grandiosa frase "estou ficando velho pra essas coisas"
The parallel universe 😅
Music when he took off his mask :)
one of the Cory's in this scene too.
Maverick in 94 was beetween 3 and 4 LW movies ?
After part 3 and before part 4 by about 4 years
Que bueno! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I like to imagine it’s the great grandparents of Riggs and Murtaugh
This time the six shooter makes sense.
These two were the ancestors of both Riggs and Murtaugh
Riggs: Rog I had the strangest dream last night, I dreamt I was in a western and was a gambler and was in a bank
Rog: huh, I had a dream last night I was a bank robber and was robbing a bank.
I like
Anyone notice the lethal weapon pluck guitar haha.
*Talking About Of Someone Multiverse?!* 😮
Murtaugh y Riggs
xd! deja vu

I find this clip funny and cringey that the fact both of them look at Eachother and go nah but to realise that they had been in a franchise together
i just shout a guffaw like an idiot
It's corny, but it works. It works so damn well
😂😂😂 nah can't be haha nahh
Wait, isn't that the KKK guy from Fletch Lives?
Cochise!
I just love how they play one of the Lethal Weapon theme songs. Lol
