He won rookie of the year and a championship in his first full-time Xfinty ride. You can never replace a Legend anything but living up to Jeff Gordon is impossible to ask of anyone. His father did his best to guide Chase. He was signed by Hendrick Motorsports at 14 years old. The winning establishment of Hendrick to go in to replace Jeff Gordon and another Legend aged terribly in Jimmy Johnson.
