Virtual Hike to Chimney Top Rock at Red River Gorge in Kentucky

This a virtual hike video of the entire trail to Chimney Top or also called Chimney Top Rock at Red River Gorge, located in Pine Ridge Kentucky. I start in the parking area and I speed up the video, when I am not talking, so the video isn't really long. I want show you the whole trail so that you can make an informed decision if this trail it good for you or your family members. The view at the end of the trial is absolutely spectacular and just amazing. This is a very short trail at about 0.7 miles roundtrip. I would rate this trail as easy. Parts of this trail are paved but some parts are washed out or eroded. This is a very family friendly and children friendly trail, but make sure that you keep a hand on your small children at all times, as the cliffs are very very high at the end of the trail at the lookout. Dogs are welcome on this trial as long as they are kept on a leash at all times. These are some of the best views in the Red River Gorge Geological Area which is part of the Daniel Boon National Forest.
