Hidden Trails of Red River Gorge: Upper and Lower Chimney Top Rock Falls (plus Hidden Arch!)

- A hike (~3 miles) along primarily unmarked trails in Red River Gorge. This hike includes four waterfalls as well as Hidden Arch. SECTIONS OF THIS HIKE ARE COMPLETELY OFF-TRAIL AND TRAVERSES STEEP LEDGES FROM WHICH FALLING COULD RESULT IN SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH. We strongly recommend that you become very familiar with this area before attempting this hike, and we also suggest using a GPS tracker to aid in navigation.
Directions to trailhead:
Traveling east on the Mountain Parkway, take exit 33 at Slade. Turn left and then right onto KY 15; travel east 4.9 miles to the Koomer Ridge Campground on the left. Take the left fork in the campground and park in the backpackers parking lot 634B on the left.
Note: This video depicts only a tiny fraction of the vast wilderness around the Red River. Plan ahead to avoid dehydration, exhaustion, inclement weather, and dangerous falls. Getting lost will obviously exacerbate all the above risks.

Killer video boys. That place is loaded with awesome features. Seems like I only get off work when it’s raining. That’s some of the best times to hike. Good for fishing too. Stay safe out there.
