I cried too my dear teacher. I hope I will soon join the Torah, already started to learn Hebrew as a first step, so that I can understand the word of G-d. Besides I have a Catholic background, but I newer felt anything like it, when I heard what Judaism is all about. I hope my true people will be happy that I recognized my soul in their presence.

I wrote a email and sent it to a Rabbi in the Netherlands to ask hin if I could visit a synagogue.
The reply was "the synagoghue is closed now ( covid 19 ) but when it opens up again I am more than welcome. Also I got a tel. number that I can call to ask if the synagogue is open already. My first step to get to know more about Judaism. Thank you Rabbi Manis Freedman for this video.

"Everybody do what they can to serve God" and you ask what's the problem with that? The problem with that statement falls to these questions:
How can we serve God?
Who and what is the desire of that God whom I am going to serve?
These are more crucial questions than the question you posed. These are the questions that explain why there is war, famine, and antisemitism.
How to serve God? By making this planet better. More godly. This is what God needs. So He can come down to earth and live together with us . This is what I have learned from other video,s by Rabbi Manis Freedman.
Rabbi Manis Friedman is the Best in the world, love all his youtube content, imagine being converted to Judaism by him.....I bet the journey would be filled with laughter, joy a love+understanding for a people and all people, with a thirst for knowledge of understanding an unbelievable amazing G-d of the universe. I've always wanted to convert to Judaism, but for many years been so hesitant and a little fear.
Please understand, each person was born to be the best at what they are. You will get all the rewards just by being the best you. No need for conversion my friend.

Salvation is to do something for God, meaning that you have been walking in his precepts statutes and laws
When you do something for God to get salvation is not doing something for God. It is doing something for your self because you are the one who wants salvation. God does not need to be saved.

I have a question for Rabbi.Please, do you think Heaven is a physical Place? And does God live there ?? I'm a little confused.
Maybe someone can clear this up for me. He is saying that you don’t need to do what God needs from you. Keep Shabbat because God wants you to, but you can take it or leave it.
Exodus 35:2. The lord commands: Keep Shabbat or be put to death.
I forget the passage, but: observe Passover with unleavened bread. If you don’t, you are cut off from your kin.
Direct and fear inducing threats for failure to listen.
Exodus 34:7. Punish the children or their children who are not yet born for the iniquities of the parents.

I'm not disagreeing that you can ask a Rabbi or even a regular Jewish person what He Wants, but, having been a Christian my entire life (Catholic, to be precise), I can very well tell you that *Yes,* a Christian can & will say what the Father Wants, besides simply saying "Believe in Jesus & get Saved."

If there is no religion, there is no longer the reason to obey to commandments, when they became human identity to found gods base to let his current flow to the collector of life. So, to eat kosher would be a religion, because when the food is collected in the stomach, it is identity. To separate food is religion, to eat it as nutrition is making god sustain my life - true ? So Torah tells us the mode, but Talmud is religion ? So what is bigger, obedience or thinking towards god ? What if god need is dynamic and not static, like Talmud, which is static and the Torah is dynamic in the interpretation of thinking and implementation of what we can perceive as gods demand for (towards) us ? What if god needs my work on Sabbath ? He gives me a call Friday evening and says: come on, i need you, there is a job to do, an i am gonna say, sorry: because of Sabbath i am not allowed to do so. So Judaism is a religion if not in the direction of the destination, but in the mode. A mode is a method and that is religion - non floating on gods demand depending to the time and its flow which is a dynamic mathematical function of unknown complexity but it is dynamic. Does God need us, or our obedience ? And obedience is the beginning of every religious struggle. So Torah gives an idea, but only the thought makes a sense of it. That is not free of contradiction, but it is comprehended in a coherent truth. That is not a contradiction (set theory).
Religion is good for the world let alone humans. Without it the mighty would have been doing many things they want any time, any day unconditionally. The religion has shut up some people in bad and good way too.

On the first thought Rabbi's answer may sound annoying to a Muslim, but if we follow his teaching from an unbiased mind he was talking about what motivates people about following a religion and not a summary of the religion.
Escaping hell and being admitted into heaven is the motivation in Islam. And the 70 virgins is mentioned in Hadith books as one of the greatest rewards, it is promised to Matrrys.
He says he doesn't like the idea of heaven, then he says he wants heaven on earth.
Friedman is a HERETIC! Do not listen to him if you want to be a KOSHER JEW! He makes everything up and has absolutely NO written sources! Pure 100% kofera-heresy!
Lets just admit we do like the idea of being two immortal human beings made for each other in a place that meets all our needs, and how there's Someone capable of infinite love Who wants to take care of us as of His creation.
Religion is when some gruop of people call themselves "the wise people of Israel" and with the unproved argue that Moses gave them the rules, they start the rule the lifes of other people "in the name of God" "according with Toiras Moishe, haloche lemosihe mesinai" and then these "wise people" create a system of indoctrination based in beliefs that are not the true beliefs of the Toire just to keep and improve power and money. This is a religion. Dogma, you cannot make a question and hope a real answer. Because it is forbbiden even ask about the dogma. Dogma is the base of this religion an all these false beliefs. Like a building that stand thnaks the basis columns, if you would move the bases all the building would fall immediatly. Dogma is religion. Dogma is violence. Violence is lie.
simple question to answer: ask the Creator of the universe to tell you the truth about the whole ... If God is real HE is the ONLY person to give us the right correct answer and NO ONE ELSE !

The lord does reveals what He wants us to do for Him, . He reveals Himself , about His Way,. I dont have Yewisch customs, nor espessialy christian, i just listen to God,.and talk to Him,.He is very near,.. He is not a special Yewisch God nor a christian, . He touches every-one who wants to know Him,. He is a compagnion,. and needs mature humans, to walk with,. He needs humans who can handle Him and His ungoing envolding of the mysteries of scripture,.from one level to the other,. A child can be much more mature and near to God, then an adult who is so-called intelligent and full of book-knowledge,.God reveals His own knowledge and ways, His own path to go, His own wisdom, and His own principles, laws and momemtums,. He is God and we are not,. He has to deal with our limitations as humans,.because we are so devaluated in understanding who we are, in Him,.
I like the Rabbi but this really put me off. God came to Sinai and gives you the Ten Commandments , and you said you don’t want him to speak to you, he told Moshe that , he cannot his face. Tell me how you wanna bring God down?

It seems (for me) that you personaly don't know real Christians.
A real folower of Christ knows that the only way to show God his love, is to serve him - we do this by loving every human being next to us.
It's impossible to love god without loving even our enemies.
And by the way, our goal is the second comming of Christ with the resurrection from the dead and the 1000 years of freedom on earth and after that to live for ever with god and with his Christ in the heavenly Jerusalem.

Your lectures are great and I have been listening to you since last month. In one of your lectures, you contridacted the fact mentioned in Islam and other religions about souls being burned in hell and you suggested souls being "shamed" for maximum eleven months!!
But Sir, with all due respect, have a ever heard or experienced nightmares? In nightmares, we are in our beds but our souls being tortured in so many possible ways including burning in 🔥!! If God wants to burn our souls, He has so many ways to do it.
And about shaming for eleven months, in Quran it says in surah Imran, that " do you have a promise from Allah we will be tortured for "ayyamun mehdoodat" for limited time? Quran says why are we making "invention" in our religions by mentioning such things. I listen to you and other scholars from Christianity and Islam because we "Ahle kitab" and Islam is the religion of all of us.

Rabbi, I practically follow your CZcams lectures on a regular basis, and most of the times you are very honest about admirable about your knowledge, but one thing you are wrong about is ISLAM. It never promised 70 virgins in paradise. You are totally misrepresenting Islam. You should consult highly educated IMMAS to explain to you about promises made.please Rabbi,when you do find out the truth,please go back and stand corrected.The closest teaching of Judusm is Islam and what's in the Holy Quran.
