      I switched from Samsung to Google and prefer the Google. I have the 7 pro and can now get 2 days from a charge since I switched off wifi scanning, so battery life is fine. I prefer the stock android to One UI ( though didnt at first). Unless you're a gamer or do a lot of video editing the Tensor chip isnt an issue. Dex is athe only sasmung feature that interests me and Ive got that on my TAb S9 ultra (I never used it with my previous Samsung pphones)

    • @rafh2753
      @rafh2753 Před 3 měsíci

      It's useful if you travel to other countries. E SIM is still a new technology and not all mobile providers in other countries offer it. So it means you have still have your main number and a local number for temporary use. Also, esim tariffs are very, very expensive compared to physical SIM. @@jcap8391

    • @rafh2753
      @rafh2753 Před 3 měsíci

      @@jcap8391if you have two Sims inside the phone, you choose a default number to make calls with but you can customise which number is used before making a call. You can also configure contacts in your phone and set it so when they are called, the phone knows which number to use. Also, you have duplicate applications for WhatsApp etc. it's really useful for those that need it. Think being a business owner, instead of carrying two phones, you can do it all on one.

    All these comparisons make me look forward to the S24 Ultra even more. Not sure about some of the rumours like the zoom being dropped from 10x to 5x, but the flat screen would be great, and I'm sure it'll be brighter than the P8 Pro.

    • @mbed0123
      @mbed0123 Před 7 měsíci +3

      I'm cracking off on my 23 ultra and loving it. If the zoom gets any better at all on the 24 it'll be most insane.
      I shit every time I see my Disney World pictures and can zoom in on a photo taken at the animal kingdom and see details that should be impossible for a "phone" to capture. I've taken aback quite a few people in person just showing off that same aforementioned photo after zooming past my children and keeping on going towards that tree of life and all of its creatures jumping off of it. #200MP FTW.
      And so glad I bought the 1TB and hope the next iteration sports the spoken of 2TB.

    I own both and honestly, the "older" S23U is overall a better phone.
    Both take great photos, with different approach to processing. Both have pros and cons, like S23u has slight curve on screen and has less brightness (you wont notice much in day to day life). But P8P has curved entire shape like iphone, so it cuts slightly into videos in all screen mode.
    But the S23U has MUCH better battery life, louder and better speakers (livelier, more bass, clearer), better square shape screen for content, smaller front camera (less intrusive in video watching), charges faster. also, the 8 gen 2 destroys the Tensor G3, and tho in day to day you wont notice much in socials apps, gaming is another topic altogether, where the 8gen2 GPU beats even the apple A17 pro in gaming (or so I heard, as I dont play games on phone)
    If nothing else, I would take a phone with better battery life any day, and if it has a nicer screen and speakers, thats a bonus.
    Im a youtube, reddit, browsing, podcast guy. I cant have a phone thats lacking in sound, screen or battery life. the battery life is just still not there for the top Pixels. Has a pixel 6 pro too. Charged it daily. S23U? 3 days light use, 2 days medium, 1 day heavy use youtube, reddit, internet, calls, messaging, updates, mails...I get 10h SOT

    • @iAfroTech
      @iAfroTech Před 7 měsíci +3

      If you fully use your S23 Ultra, you will notice differences between Tensor G3 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and also UFS 3.1 vs UFS 4.0. You buy a S23 Ultra for Cameras, shooting Photos and Videos, transferring datas on your 💻 frequently. Pixel 8 Pro using old technology in the end of 2023 is non sense.
      Also, Samsung Routines are really powerful. Reviews should talk much about this feature, still useful on Galaxy smartphones. Same for duplicate apps.

    The only thing the pixel has over the galaxy is the still camera. Really, when it comes to picture it is all personal preferance for all smart phones. I do prefer the pixel stills only. Also I love the speech to text on the pixel. It is great just speaking and then it dictate your voice into text. Gboard on the pixel is the best with that. But as an overall phones with great battery life, charging speed, great modem, the galaxy is the better options over the pixel. A phone has to work and be reliable. I give the win to Samsung over the pixel. But I switch up to the pixel from time to time.

    I had the s23 ultra and playing COD mobile was just super smooth. I now have the pixel 8 and it doesn't hold a candle to Samsung.

    The big thing I like to point out about the p8p vs the s23u, samsung makes the chips for the google, they know how crap they are so they don't even put it in there own phone

    • @kerrydaniels8460
      @kerrydaniels8460 Před 6 měsíci +2

      What are you talking about. They can't legally put the G series chips in their phones without Googles permission of which Google isn't giving them permission too anyhow. The tensor chips has capabilities that Samsung phones don't have due to the different chipset including a ton of A.I. features.
      The differences don't really matter much at all unless you heavy game which most folks don't. Google is coming along. I'm going Samsung as I tried both and almost went pixel, but the battery life on the S23/24 is just better and is what's pulling me there.

    • @Madpiggaming
      @Madpiggaming Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@kerrydaniels8460 Samsung manufactures the Google tensor chips, they're based on the high end Exynos at the time, Samsung knows how dog those chips are so they chose to not put them in there own flagship phones, all Google does to make the chip is ad their ai bits and some other stuff, but it's still a Samsung chip at it's core

    Putting simply s23 ultra is more premium device in many respects, more feature rich. Some may like pixels camera optimisations or stock android. If you can get for similar price, without hesitation 23 ultra wins. Hands down

    Wow!!! Another review that simply glosses over some of the amazing pictures the S23 Ultra can take at a distance. The zoom really comes in handy at race car events, sports events, etc. There are a lot of shots you just can't take without it. It's like you cherry-picked what you wanted to compare to make it some like they are comparable phones.

    S23 Have 2 Samsung phones a regular and an Ultra, and they're working without a hiccup. Pixels are loaded with bugs and issues, have poor customer service. They gave me so much runaround that I'll never buy another Pixel. They're parts bin phones for Google to test their software. You are a beta tester, and instead of being paid, you're paying for doing the work. Thank you for your service. 😁
