I saw an interview with Amandla Stenberg, and she said black people aren't represented in sci-fi. In Star Wars, we had Lando, Mace Windu, and Finn as the main characters. In Star Trek, we had Uhura, Worf, and Gordie. Deep Space Nine Captain Sisko and Jake. Voyager Nine Tuvok a woman captain Janeway. Star Gate Tealc. She also said the lgbt weren't represented 7of9 is lesbian in Star Trek. And in the new Star Wars we had lesbian Rebels. Even in Star Trek Prodigy Zero is none binary and it was only mentioned in pronouns, no issue was made about it. And for Leslie Headland to say R2D2 is a lesbian is insane, it's a robot which would also be non binary. There is no excuse for bad acting, bad scripts and bad direction. It's just terrible and it definitely has an agenda.
