I wanted to say Thank You so much. I've been wanting to do this project for the longest & couldn't understand how the artist gotten the canvas to spin with a drill. Truly Thank You... Now I know & understand how they done it. I really enjoyed watching your video & enjoyed how you explained everything carefully & with so much detail in your video. THANK YOU SIR THIS WAS THE BEST...
Thank you for making this video! Having a way to spin it is the key part of these projects & yet no one else has even mentioned how they do it, let alone gave a detailed explanation!
Maegan, that is because artists who use this technique don't want others to copy, even though it's been around forever and is nothing new. It's a simple form of creating pour art that anybody with a setup like this can do, after they apply the paint to the canvas.
That's because an attachment ist extremely simple to make. You simply need that crossbar-piece-of-wood and 1 drill. You drill a hole into the wood, and then you simply glue the drill into the drilled hole. Then the drill and the wood will be one unit which you can store and use as you like. You're done. Easy, isn't it ?
Thanks brother! Making a note for myself when I go to the store later. Materials used: 1x4 board (untreated) Tape measure #8 screws 3/8 speed bit 5/32 drill bit Drill 3/8 1.5in carriage bolt Flat washer Lock nut Sharpie
Yes!!! Thank you so much for this video. All the other videos I've seen are pretty vague, or they already have it made and just tell you versus showing you.
Thank you very much. Keep up the great work. Your have been the most helpful video with making this. Everyone else HAS NOT been so helpful at all!! They just jump right in attach drill an spin. So again job well done. Thank you again.
Thank you for doing this. I've tried on my own and the middle screw kept going through the canvas. I would of normally asked my father for an opinion but he passed away last October
It's not rocket science, !!!!, 🤔 but the most important thing in this whole job is to drill your center whole straight, not crooked or your canvas will wobble all kind of crazy while your canvas is spinning at the high RPM speed the drill spins, it'll be like a bent rim on a bike going reall fast
This by far has been the most detailed video of how to build a drill attachment for your spin art canvas. Appreciate it all. Thanks

What size wood and screws for the 16x20 canvas? Also incredible video, super helpful! Thanks so much!!
Same type of board. Just measure the width of you canvas and cut the 1 x 4 so that its flush with the sides of your canvas.
Liking the chaos tattoo there mate

Thank you
Good Job
Thanks jon x
Thank you man
My brain hurts now.. I know you have to dumb down these instructions for inexperienced folks.. but dang..
How do you take the wood off after your done. That's the only thing I. Don't understand
We've tried this but had trouble with it spinning completely off or the bolt coming unscrewed
You have to make sure that the carriage bolt has the square molded under the bolt head. If it doesnt then it will for sure uncrew.
when I try to spin it, the bolt comes out of the drill. is it possible that my bolt is too thick?
Hey what kind of washers were you using
3/8 flat washers and 3/8 lock washers! 👍
What size wood and screws were they ?
I bought 1 peice of 1x4 untreated wood and those were 2 x 3/8 carriage bolts.
When u r done do u take the wood off
Ya
I love your xbox tattoo .... i have a xbox one x and my power supply just broke for the 4 th time
Drill envy lol
The carriage bolt he have is longer than an inch and a half
How big do the 1x4 need to be for an 11x16, 8x10 & 16x20 canvas?
The dimensions you provided are the length you need.

Have you regretted that Xbox tattoo yet?
