I hate it when games give you an op weapon so late in the game so you can't even use it very much, then if there's no new game plus you have to do it all over again just to get it.
Like in ac black flag you get the rope dart in sequence 11 out of 13 so you only have 2 sequences to use it despite it being a cool weapon.

I legit got it at power 20 haha , just got it through the bugs , the weapon is overpowered as hell and is fun as hell to use

You don’t need to defeat Odin to get the spear, you just need to either complete the main quest till you get to the final cave where the world tree is then turn left instead of right into a crack in the wall. Or bug it at the beginning and enjoy and overpowered weapon for the rest of the game
How to bug it
You basicly need to make an alliance with every territory except hamtuncire to go there and get gungnir, kinda much late when you can get excalibur arround power level 170 just defeating expecific zealots and completing caves
exactly, i ended up buying one of the dlc sets anyways (Hel's Damnation Pack with Surtr Sword) cuz i loved the way it looked

i got excalibur at lvl 475 because i did everything in an order
I got Excalibur and nodens arc lvl 120 cuz I killed all zealots and only needed tto drown heike
why cant you make an alliance with hamtuncire? I already did.
I got this as soon as you go there before opening the door
Well, luckily, we can learn another mythical spear more easily than just completing the main storyline still though you’re right it is a shame that you have to get it at the end of the quest
It sucks to get it in the last of the game but it kinda make sense to get in the last
there is a wall of ice i cant break in where you just use your weapn to get inside
i can’t even get it, cos jorvik still doesn’t register as completed even though i’ve completed it
Can't wait I've got two main story marks left, and I've made only one bad choice in the game so I'll be getting gungnir soon, I'll begin the asguard quests soon as well

I find it so annoying when games give u the best weapons and abilities at the end of the game when u don't need them anymore.

I bugged the game to get this and thank god i did because i was like levek 15 when thay happened. Ive been enjoying basically the entite journey with the spear.

Well it does from story point of view, but you won't use it much after completing game

I don't what it is but none of these tips have worked so far. I guess I'm not that far into the game only 148 can't get Odin's spear and can't get by barred doors.. help!!!!
As i said in the video, it only becomes available after certain point in the main storyline, hope that helps
What the heck do you need the odins spear at end ot the game for? If you already fought the ice giants defeated surtur and fought and defeated the giant wolf and by this point in the game im also sure youve also raided all the rivers. Its pointless. They shouldve made this available earlier and more challenging to kill ice giants.

you won't be able to enter the chamber where the spear is until you unlock the storyline total nonsense same as with Odins cape you must kill all the wanted ones by the Bureau what's the point Ubi~
I complete most of level designated areas as I go through them, I don't usually go back unless I know there is something worthwhile so the only place I could use the spear would be DLC but then again my own sword - axe combo ended up being more fun for me than the spear.
