Thanks for watching and getting in the comments. I appreciate it. I also have two Chameleons, and I think they are made very similar to the Alpha with the milled end. I think mine have a set screw. There are definitely many out there. I don't get rid of my crimped telescopic antennas, but when I'm buying another one I hold off until I find one with the milled end.++++ At any rate, the best antenna is the one we have on us!
