Dr 100 is good but there are better options like Cort ad810 and fender fa 125 Which are better than epiphone dr100..also right now if u get dr 100 that would be old stock as there is no distributor of epiphone as of now in India..there was one but currently there isn’t.

am I the only one that likes the tone of fender over yamaha
i felt that yamaha and cort were on the same level it will come down to an individual's personal taste and choice which guitar to buy....btw loved your review detailed and informative,just one suggestion that when you compare guitars do the strumming parts for all the guitars one by one and then fingerstyle for all of them and so on that will help absorb the taste of one style to listeners and beginners will better understand the difference..sorry for the long comment 😀😀

Cort AD 810 IS THE BETTER

Recently gone to a shop to buy guitar after lot of searches and going through lot of reviews available on net,, definitely Cort ad810 is my first choice and yamha f310 is second choice and also in store while tried playing both found Cort is better than Yamha but the Sales guy also wants me to try one more guitar I haven't heard of, while playing I found that this particular guitar sounded much better than cort and Yamaha, also the build quality was also way better and it comes with D'adrio strings and become instant favourite for me. So i decided to purchase this guitar ASHTON D24. It sounds really well. It comes in all mahogany body. I really liked it..it Costed me 9500/- while cort ad810 was available at Rs8000 and F310 was available at Rs 8300/-. So I feel the important thing is you should try by yourself what suits to your ears and hands and purchase from a good store rather than online.
Yes you are right..since you checked guitars and bought Ashton which is nice..but problem is not everyone has good stores in their areas..and many stores have limited variety..so for those people online shopping is the only option..

I own a Ashton cutaway bugdet guitar. Bought it @5k almost 5 years ago. I love it. Ashton is so underrated though.
i have both Yamaha F310 and Cort AD810E OP (Semi Electric version)
from my opinion Cort have a better finishing, in the term of sound, they both almost equally matched, but Cort overall more stable. but not to discouraging any F310 owner out there, its was still a good guitar.

I bought the yamaha F310 2 years ago. At first it wasn't that great because the action of it right out from the box was crazy high and the neck wasn't straight. It was totally unplayable. So i had to set up everything, for a yamaha guitar i was expecting it was already ready right out from the box. But man as soon as i was finish setting up,man it was great. The fretboard is great, the wood is great . The sound is so loud and clear. Specially placing an elixir strings it sounded even better. 2 years later its still playing great even through years of changing weathers here in my country. Yamaha F310 not just for beginners but also for musicians like me. :)
My favourite is Cort AD 810! It’s the best ☺️

I playedc the guitar for about 10 years, im 21 y old now. After years of playing a trash old acoustic guitar (Because I bought only eletric guitars) I decided to buy the Yamaha F310 just because the reviews, etc... It sounds so clean and bright, for the strumming is just amazing, sounds like a 300 $ guitar, anyways you won't even see any big difference between guitars that go from 150 to 300 $. The Cort is almost at the same level of the Yamaha. So if you are thinking about buying, at this point think about the design and your preferences. I love the design of the yamaha, the natural beige color, so I'm so happy about my decision!

Cort Ad 810 sound is so beautiful in strumming or it is much better in fingerpicking...and if i compare with YAMAHA f310 the f310 sound is also better in strumming but it's little bit ⬇ in fingerpicking✌😎🎸🎶

Yamaha is popular hence most comments would flag Yamaha as winner however Cort is way better . I have both. Not to forget Cort has die cast tuners for longer tune retention.

An honest call. The Cort wins this shootout hands down. I have neither of these specific models either, but do have guitars from both brands in a Yamaha APX600 and Cort AF510, so no silly misplaced owner pride brand bias.
F310 cherry color available on Amazon is available with yamaha bcoz you mentioned f310 comes in two colors natural and sunburst.
Natural and tobacco sunburst were the only colours available at that point so I mentioned..cherry burst has recently come..may be 2 months back..

Cort ad810 is better than Yamaha f310 in certain things..gap between strings is a little less in Yamaha f310.. so it creates problems in fingerstyle playing..also the finish of Cort ad810 is awesome..just check the open pore finish(natural color)model of ad810.plus you get coated strings which lasts longer compared to normal strings.
When you do sound check do some solo on higher frets

Cort Ad810 and Fender SA105 sounds same and seem quite soft for me and Yamaha F310 and Fender SA150 sound very similar too to each other and have more bass than first two. I liked bassier ones more, but as I am personlly looking for electro acoustic, having less bass will give more freedom, so that may be best choose especially if in electro acoustic one you can control bass
In your opinion what is the best to buy?
My oppinion is:-
1st:- Cort AD-810
2nd:- Squier Fender SA-150
3rd:- Yamaha F310
4th:- Squier Fender SA-105
Nowadays I play on Cort SFX ME and it doesn't sounds like AD810. The AD810 has more acoustiс sound while SFX is similar to electric
Since cort SFX me and ad810 are different guitar body shape and size. They both have different tonal qualities. So it's not justifiable to compare ad810 and SFX me. it's your personal preference what you expect in your guitar sound. Cort ad810 will have more volume and bass projection whereas cort SFX me has a more balanced mid rang tone

Sound wise, the Fender SA 150 gives the best overall satisfaction to my ears.
All guitar reviews over the Internet always be positive even if it's for the ultra cheap ones...also professionals guitarist make em sound cool,even in shops . Could you let us know which guitars/brands to avoid so that people who want to learn guitar don't get discouraged by starting of on a bad guitar....
Guitars like zabel Juarez are fine in the 2500 price range..but if one can afford a better Guitar then should avoid these guitars..u can go for trusted brands like fender,yamaha,ibanez,Cort etc
But I didn’t like kadence slowhand series..as it looked good but sound not that great..also if possible avoid givson,Grason and signature brand guitars..as they are not of good quality plus price varies a lot of these brands.
Guitars that I review are being used by my students..so go for the branded guitars without any hesitation 👍🏻😀

I ordered CortAD810 after checking this video. As mentioned in this video you gave Cort higher rating than Yamaha. But the guitar sound was bad. I am now returning it and buying Yamaha F310
That’s your personal choice..for me Cort is still better and hardly I get negative feedback..have been recommending since 2011..it might be possible that the guitar has bad setup or not in good condition..same stuff has with Yamaha also..so just make sure that the guitar is in good condition

What's the difference between Cort AD810 and AD880 apart from the price? Checked the official website but was unable to figure out.
Looks is the main difference..ad880 has binding on the edges plus some thin layering on the top and rosette that gives a little fancy look and comes in gloss finish so that’s the only difference..specs are very identical of both

I dont understand why people are so particular about getting a beginner guitar. Sure , there are some slight difference. None are really good guitars. Wont make a difference. It is not that you will use it for your world tour concert. Just get one you are comfortable. More important is how well you can play. So what if you get the best guitar if you cannot even play.

Sa105ce is made in china. Fender used to make Fa series in Indonesia now making in china..also the classic series like cd60s models I think are now made in china..one of my subscriber bought cd60sce and in that it was written made in china

I am left handed should i buy the cort ad 810 and re string it upside down would it still sound good or should i look for handed variant (rare).
Buy a left handed one, because bracing underneath the top is different than right handed one..also the saddle angle is different

That’s your personal preference..which size do you like..in middle size branded options are few..Cort af510e, Cort af505 and Yamaha fs100c.
