    Tool's last song of the night. The wonderfully Hick-sian Ænema.
    Apologies for wobbly camera. About 8 pints in at that point and was holding my phone over my head whilst I enjoyed the show.

      Great way to start your concert experiences. Glad you enjoyed it so much. They were on fire last night. My advice as an old sod is try and get to as many concerts as you can at the smaller venues. I see loads of bands for £8-£20 and as much as possible try and check out support bands. You end up seeing bands who end up charging a lot more money in a few years time and playing in bigger venues that aren't as cool.

      I really liked Undertow when it came out and then I bought Opiate. Lost interest for about 10 years but got back into them and now it's either Tool or audiobooks. Most other bands are just so repetitive. You should check out "Lucid Planet" they are from Australia and pretty good

      @sophomoreslumpmusicandvideo  Před měsícem +1

      I've seen them three times in arenas now. First time was 10,000 Days on their second round of dates. That was really good, amazing set and seeing them do Wings For Marie / 10,000 Days with lasers all over the place was tremendous. Second Time was first round of FI Dates. That was good but I was seriously considering not going again because of atmosphere and cost. This year I resigned myself to saying goodbye to Tool live shows and then they put on an amazing show and pulled out songs like Sweat and Flood.
      But I agree with you that small shows are better. I'm just glad I got to see them a few times in small venues in the early 90s. No fancy light shows but Maynard and Paul were brilliant to watch close up in those days.
